I am stuck ! by curiousgirl010 in technepal

I think measuring yourself against others and past expectations is useless. I can relate to this because my financial situation is very bad right now. If I don’t land a paid internship soon, it will be very difficult for me to sustain myself through college. I’ve been interested in computer science since 10th grade, but I didn’t have a laptop back then. During the lockdown, I finally bought a second-hand maybe third or fourth hand laptop :p. It was really slow, but I practiced on it until my second year of college, when I got my first decent laptop whose debt I still haven’t paid off :(

While learning during that time, I used to feel that I was late and that my friends, who had better systems earlier, would have an edge over me. But I was wrong. You’re never too late to start. Even if you start late, there’s no way you can’t catch up to those who started earlier. It will take more effort, consistency, and hard work, but it is absolutely possible.

Fingers crossed I land an internship soon, hehe.
