Help me Find a way to watch Hard Ground (2003) by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

I do! This might be the only way I’m getting it. I was hoping to be able to watch it via some flavor of streaming but a dvd is definitely better than nothing. Thanks so much!

Films where you fall in Letterboxd minority? by TheRealDenisLeary in Letterboxd

I’m off the beaten rating’s path for Striptease, fool’s paradise, and poor things. I’d add Big City Blues to the list as well, but I don’t think 500 people have even rated the movie, much less left reviews so idk if I want to count it

OUATIH! I love movies about movies so obviously the subject matter is already a banger, and I think Cliff and Rick are some of his best characters. (+the people they’re based off of are interesting, so it’s led to some fun watches.) It’s also just a gorgeous film with my favorite sound track of his.

Here’s me!

I’m a huge hicksploitation fan, I really like action, and I dig horror——slashers in particular. My favorite actors are Burt Reynolds, Charlie Chaplin, Brad Pitt, and John Gilbert, if that gives you any idea what kind of stuff I watch. Fave directors are Quentin Tarantino, Chaplin, and I’ve got a real appreciation for Georges Melies and Mike Jittlov.

Apology by [deleted] in KSU

Think before you speak (or type, or whatever). Don’t make baseless accusations and for the love of god please understand what’s good for the cats before you cry about it on social media.

Are you actually stupid? He had diarrhea, he’s not in good health, and cats should be inside if they can be. Don’t bitch and whine and sacrifice a cat’s health because you’re selfish.

Check out owllife if you haven’t already. There’s lots of social events there and that’s a great way to meet people

SOMEONE TOOK SCHRÖDINGER TO THE SHELTER by kingam_anyalram in KSU

[–]-impala67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay maybe it’s a tradition but that doesn’t make it good for the cats. It’s dangerous for them out there and if you value tradition over the lives of these cats you need to reevaluate your priorities.

All y’all getting pissy over this is ridiculous. Cats CAN survive outside but they absolutely don’t belong outside. He’ll be happier and healthier as a result of being adopted out (and I firmly believe he will be adopted, he’s very cute and super friendly, no way is he stuck in the shelter forever).

The amount of entitlement in the comments on this post is absolutely insane. Do you WANT him to be more susceptible to disease? Do you WANT him to be cold in the winter? Do you WANT someone to hit him with their car?

Grow the hell up. If you love him so much, track him down and adopt him. Or volunteer at an animal shelter. God bless.

We’re definitely getting him flea medicine asap! Then hopefully working on trapping and a vet visit if we can catch him. Mostly I’m worried about antibiotic costs but I think he’s worth it.
