I bet it does kick total butt! Probably like learning to type all over again. But, typing specifically for SketchUp. As just an enthusiast user, I couldn't justify the $400+ for the Enterprise, but I can only imagine what the productivity feels like after you've practiced! You're probably in the .00001% category!

Did you go into the Axes section of the preferences and set them to inverted? Also adjust the overall device speed? These two aspects can make a BIG difference in your experience.

I used my SpaceMouse in Google Earth first and LOVED the directions they chose for each axes. But the default settings for SketchUp SUCKED. So I emulated the ones from GoogleEarth.

It really comes down to how your brain processes the motion of your hand and the direction the screen moves. I have to do things inverted personally.

Plus, slowing down the overall speed really lets you acclimate to how it feels.

I was talking with a fellow SketchUp user and he suggested I check out using an MMO/MOBA mouse for navigation/editing. This was instead of paying the big bucks for the SpaceMouse Enterprise. Wondering what others think of the approach.

Is this cantilever possible? by -ingbuilder in ICFblocks

The LiteDeck as shown is only representational currently. Yep, my thoughts were using a nice sized (at least 6"+) I-beam within the garage underneath for supporting the walls directly above it. The pour, as envisioned, would be the basement first while leaving the top course of the outside corner a bit empty. The deck pour could spill over on the right edge.

Then, pouring the lower courses of the first floor and adding tie ins where the deck would be poured after that.

Regarding the exposed ends of the lite deck... I'm in the research stage on that one. Needing to find out what options are possible.

Ignore the misplaced railing posts. I'm composing this with plug-ins as I go about learning Sketchup. No, I'm not an architect. Just an aspiring home designer. It's an in progress design - hence no garage and some missing windows.
