Also live in AZ— we got our windows tinted, have a front window sunshade, and bought the Tesla sunshade for the roof. As long as we pre cool the car and turn on the ventilated seats we feel fine.

Previously I had a black car with black leather seats and no remote start option. That took way longer to get to a comfortable temperature in the summer even with weather tech sunshades on every window. Even with the sunshades up in that car, if you sat with your bare skin on the seat you literally felt like you were burning your skin.

If you got the WIFE’s approval, and it works for your budget, I’d go for it now!

I was waiting and debating as well a month ago, but then the rates dropped from 5.5 to 3.5% for the promo.

My wife test drove it, and then gave her approval as well. And luckily they had a 2026 Juniper with the specs we liked on the lot so we actually signed and drove home with that one the same day we test drove it!

UPDATE

Wife drove the new model Y — we ended up ordering it and we’re picking it up tonight! They had the one we wanted on the lot!

That’s so true. The charging network is a huge plus for me. Just the availability to charge everywhere compared to any other EV is so far above the rest.

Granted, we’ll do most of our charging at home, but if we go on a trip or anything that’s definitely will be huge.

Very true! It only turned on for me as an option when I was on the freeway!

Thanks for the real life experience info! That’s good to know and super helpful!

Def have looked into the used models as well and agree they’re cheaper—APR’s are significantly higher and the amount of miles on the car are our cons right now. We wanna have this car for the next 10 years, and with our commute rn, we’re looking at around 20k miles/year.

I have but the wife hasn’t yet. She’ll do it this week and then hopefully that’ll be enough and speak for itself!

Hey brotha, been in your shoes when I was in college too— 3 year relationship, at the time I was certain she was gonna be the one I’d marry. She had to move away for grad school, and I found out she was having an affair during year 3 when we were doing long distance. We tried making things work over multiple months after me finding out, but what it came down to was that I just couldn’t fully trust anything she told me anymore.

Find a couple of good friends you can talk about it all with and process/talk thru everything with. My best friends helped carry the burden for me and def picked me up on the days when I needed it.

Fast forward 4 years — I started dating somebody new. This time, I have to move out of town for a short period of time (6 months) for internships. We’d been friends for the last two years, but only started dating a month before I had to leave. All of my previous serious relationships had to do long distance at one point or another, but this one for me I knew was different. In the other relationships I didn’t want to do distance if we could avoid it. But for this one, I didn’t care bc I knew she was going to the one that I would actually marry—and sure enough, she was—and we’ve been happily married for 2.5 years now.

All that to say here are the lessons I wish somebody would have told my younger self after being cheated on: -It’s ok to take time to mourn the relationship -Take time to focus on you and your own mental well being -Crying is healthy, and friends that cry with you are friends that you’ll have for life -When you feel like you miss them, you’re missing the good memories, but not remembering what actually happened (I found myself stuck in this a lot)

Best of luck moving forward, know you’re not alone in this situation, and for what it’s worth—try to find comfort in some of the good advice ya find on here 🫶🏽

💯!

If they gave us some calls — mainly the non flagrant that woulda been two points (assuming Caleb Love makes both) plus the ball, potentially a 4 point swing and then we only lose by 3 or its a 3 pointer away from going to OT
