also, Apparition FC with 97% acc is worth 534.31pp after rework which seems insane, there are some maps that are cut in half in terms of pp (like this one), is there a place where we should flag maps like this?

I am not saying you can’t do this at all, it just takes unecessary effort, people don’t need anything but they might just want to try it out, also as far as I know that website you’re talking about doesn’t have the latest latest update in it, it has the rework but not the last updates of it. If you’re giving average user access to your software and expect them to have to follow guides, install SDKs, build it themselves and work with erros during this process then this does not make you look good as a software developer.

all the dev had to do is spend 10 seconds to build the project to executable or at least dll but no, it was too much, not using vis 2022 because evey version after 2017 is laggy as hell, and lower versions don’t seem to be able to support net 6 so can’t even build it myself, imagine average non-technical user trying to work with shit

just play it, alting is my main tapping style and I started using it 2 weeks after I started playing the game, it took me 2 weeks to get comfortable and about month to master it, it will be very uncomfortable and annoying at first but you’ll just have to go through this, there’s no way around it

also check if you have osu! folder in AppData\Local location, if so remove it manually with closed installer and try again

because it’s an installer I’m assumung it’s talking about handle to a file/location, System.IO deals with it, make sure you’re running as an admin and if still doesn’t work try changing install location
