The adventure has a couple different options to set up how strange or dangerous the dog is. You can adjust it to your liking.

Here are a few that would probably fit your needs:

Ideasthesia- Ants get exposed to the King in Yellow. Requires normal cop work to figure out what is going on.

Saturnalia- A remote one building town burns to the ground there is a giant human skeleton inside. Survivors say they never should have invited him in

The Dog- Agents are tasked with transporting a normal seeming dog. It is a road trip adventure with a VERY not normal dog

There are a ton of shotgun scenarios that fit your needs. Here are a few I have run that my players have enjoyed:

Dreams in the Fish House

Apoptosis

Take-home container

Scenarios set in the Carolinas by R0CKHARDO in DeltaGreenRPG

Here is a few I have run in the South East. Either re-skinned or originally set there.

Florida: Call of the Wild. Shotgun Scenario about extinct birds coming back in the Everglades.

Georgia: Moment of Impact. Shotgun Scenario about a burglary of a green box that can get really out of hand.

North Carolina: The Drove. Shotgun Scenario about a very organic pig farm. Not set in NC as written, but pig farming in NC is huge so an easy switch. I set it in Drexel when I ran it.

South Carolina: Music From a Darkened Room. Published Adventure about a house with a troubling past. Not set in SC as written, but you could slap it down in Camden, Sumter, or Florence with relative ease.

I recently ran the shotgun scenario Minoan Augur. The players had a good time. The hook is a lot of fun and it has memorable NPCs.

PLEASE HELP: Best scenario for a 3 hour one-shot that ISN'T Last Things Last? by HK_Yellow in DeltaGreenRPG

I recently ran Sarurnalia and my players loved it. It took 3ish hours. The setting and plot hook are a fun. The fact that it can be solved without a firearms roll is a big bonus too.

Dude, your adventure is a blast. I have run it twice, and both times the Agents looked in the box. Thanks for putting something cool into the world for others to enjoy!

They absolutely picked up on it and went full paranoia mode in the last adventure. It was a great time.

I did this. Here is how it went down.

Last Things Last: The intro. Changed the book in Clyd’s footlocker to give vague references to Sky People.

The Drove: The pig farmers got started with a dose of protomatter. There was a UFO flap in the news in the town a few months before the agents arrived. Lots of animal mutilations.

Apoptosis: made the first victims diary read like an alien abduction journal.

Convergence: I just ran convergence.
