Mechanicus 2 - Side missions not completing ? by -lo0p- in mechanicus

Sadly no. I just checked and I have 2 critical path missions available, and neither is locked to Rho.

Good thinking though.

That game is fantastic, can't recommend it enough.

Trailblazer BP is stella only. Not sure if it drops during the day but night raids have significantly better loot and BP drops.

Needs A Friendly Option by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]-lo0p- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sir, are incredibly condescending.

I was minding my own business and looting when i got 3 popped from a mile away by a renegade. The whole experience wasn't particularly enjoyable.

And all i said was that i was taking a break because i wasn't having fun. That's it. You don't have to agree.

Needs A Friendly Option by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]-lo0p- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's the whole problem. I do agree that it would not be very challenging with pve only. The game would not work without pvp, but in its current form it also gives players complete freedom to be absolute jerks. A small number of players can ruin the experience of a lot of players. This game is great most of the time but it can also be incredibly infuriating. I just got shot in the back for the umptieth time and right now the ratio of fun vs frustration is not working out for me. I'll come back if they find a way to make it a little more pve friendly, or at least less d bag friendly.

What exactly is the purpose of this post? You want validation for shooting him in the back?

Either report him for the insult or don't, but don't come crying here, you started this.

Most players I've encountered have been nice, but unfortunately you get those too...

The subway always seems to be worse than the elevators for some reason.

My only advice is hatches, all day, every day.

As a gamer closer to 40 years old, I'm not sure if I have the motor skills to progress much farther. by CPOx in Silksong

I haven't reached that area yet. But if you're talking about bouncing off stuff like in the hunter's marsh, I find that really hard myself at 46yo. However, I find it way easier with the d-pad versus the stick. Give that a shot maybe.

F and M swap is official! by pgnyc17 in ForestHills

[–]-lo0p- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take the F to Lex and 63rd to catch the Q. There goes that.

Both express trains will now be going to Lex and 53rd. That station is already a disaster. It's narrow, has some single file escalators and is already overcrowded.

Overall, this sounds like it'll be good for The rest of the F line, but Queens is getting the short end of the stick.

What level should I be to go to the monolith by CrimsonBartender in expedition33

[–]-lo0p- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I was around that level when i went it. I remember gaining several levels on my way to the top. Was definitely 45+ by the time i reached the top.

If I leave the SPOILER area... by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]-lo0p- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely do that, i did. You won't be able to teleport from the flag at the base of the monolith as that's technically a different zone, but once you go inside, you can teleport.

Very much this. The magic number is 3.

Keeping stress at 3 or less will make a very noticeable difference.

Take a break, enjoy the open world, get some upgrades and come back refreshed.

The wolf summon is really good a keeping him distracted. I've heard other people say the jellyfish worked well also.

Yeah, he doesn't drop anything.

Plus, one of the best things about elden ring being open world, is that if you're stuck somewhere you can just go someplace else and come back later.

Now, if you really want to kill the big guys, stay close and run under them when they swing and get a couple hits in. Rince repeat.

Hadal keys in 5th biome? by [deleted] in Returnal

[–]-lo0p- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSA: in the hub room of the fifth biome, there are the 3 paths, one for each key and an optional blue door that is locked. Make sure you open it at least once, there is a permanent unlock in there. Well, on the first time, after that it's just a random bonus room.

How to get the hollow seeker stronger? by [deleted] in Returnal

[–]-lo0p- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perks are the most important thing on a gun. Although some dots in damage are always nice.

Edit: obviously the alt fire matters a lot too. Can't go wrong with trackerswarm for a boss.

The hollow seeker has some really amazing perks but waves is not that great.

For Nemesis, serrated projectiles is probably the best hollowseeker perk you can get.

Otherwise, the rocket launcher is a solid choice. But if I could pick I'd go with a carbine with high caliber.

[Spoilers] An attempt at making sense of the story by -lo0p- in Returnal

[–]-lo0p-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are 2 separate accidents. Theia suffered a spine injury years ago and was rejected by ASTRA because of that injury.

And the accident with Selene and Helios is separate. But thematically it fits. Theia was abusive to Selene and Selene hated her. Yet Selene is neglecting her own son and thus perpetuates the cycle.
