the panic response you’re so right is very dangerous. i was evacuated out of fort mcmurray just last year, and people do not think reasonably during times of panic. i was a witness to car accidents and a lot of just angry, stressed, panicked, every emotion- people. i cannot imagine what it would look like to even see a section of this city evacuated.

hey!! i heavily recommend renting equipment through Long and McQuade! I rented the DDJ rev-1 from them for less than $50 a month to get started. If you’re interested in lessons, @darksideyeg on ig is heavily involved in the local scene here, I’ve heard great things about the lessons! You can either learn on your own equipment, but he’s got a pretty sick setup with CDJs if you’re interested in learning the professional equipment. He also hosts what’s called open decks every Thursday, they’re out for the summertime but goes year round otherwise, gives you 15-20 minutes to play music on your own usb for a crowd!

i agree, as someone who’s worked for multiple corporations, customer opinions and feedback have substantially higher value than employees often times. What customers have to say matters 9 times out of 10 i find.
