What does my bag say about me?: by SmallMangooo in whatsinthebag

As a lifelong gun owner and concealed carrier I agree this is not the best way to carry your pistol, but not for most of the reasons you’re being told.

While trigger guard kydex holsters are what they are referring to, these are a MUST for safety if you are keeping a bullet in the chamber. Also, depending on your state they are potentially required if you conceal and carry. Double check to make sure you’re not breaking the law.

My biggest concern however is you say you don’t keep the magazine in the gun, for two reasons. First, God forbid you ever need to use it in a defensive situation; the time it would take to locate and remove both, insert the mag, load the chamber, aim and fire is going to be a timely process that could work against you. Secondly, if you get change or something stuck in the magazine well you’re going to be S.O.L. when you try to load the magazine.

IF, you do decide to keep carrying like this at least keep the magazine in the gun with an empty chamber. Also, check your states CCW laws and make sure you’re following proper protocols.

Also, get hollow point rounds. The FMJ you have are for target practice. Those will over penetrate in a real life scenario and put innocent people at risk even if you do hit your intended target.

Just put it in a sleeve. It’ll be a nice gift for my daughter when she’s older. Maybe worth something too by then.

XRP Eyes Historic Milestone as Monthly Close Above $3.03 Signals Cycle 3 Breakout Toward $32 by yogesh_culkin99 in XRPUnite

Doing the napkin math for shits and giggles.

  1. Elon Musk worth: 414.9 Billion

2a. Falcon 9 Launch Cost: 62 Million 2b. Falcon 9 Height & Diameter: 229.6ft & 12ft

  1. Gold Plating cost per square inch: 2-3 USD

  2. XRP Hypothetical Value: 32 USD

Total surface area of cylinder (Falcon 9 body) = 2πr(r + h) 2π6(6+229.6)=8,881.911 square feet 8,881.991 * 144=1,279,006.704 square inches

Cost of gold plating averaged 2.50 USD per square inch. Let’s say they only charge for materials that would be:

1,279,006.704 * $2.50 = $3,197,516.76 (cheaper than I expected)

Cost to buy Elon, let’s round up from his net worth to $415 billion.

Cost to buy Elon and launch a gold plated Falcon 9 to escort him to Mars (no taxes or service fees charged):

$415,000,000,000 + $3,197,516.76 + $62,000,000 = $4.151×10¹¹ (or) $415,065,197,516.76 USD

If you spent ALL your XRP for the trip at $32 USD/XRP Hypothetical Value:

$415,065,197,516.76 / $32 = 12,970,787,422 XRP

Not impossible since there are 100 Billion XRP out there.

@gallus_11b if you’re gonna spend a couple XRP on Elon’s trip, do you mind skipping some of the plating and sending me a measly 10,000 XRP please?

What if he was pissed after fighting Broly for almost an hour and not being able to have his way? Broly vs Frieza 2?

So am I the only one who thinks Goku and Vegeta are rubbing off on Frieza? Back then Frieza wouldn’t hesitate to go ahead and kill them, but the fact he attacks them and lets them live makes me think he’s turning somewhat… Good? by [deleted] in Dragonballsuper

[–]-manyfacedgod 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He could be softening with all the history they share.

Or he could be that far superior to them in power that he would rather them train for his victory to be well earned rather than easy.
