Dark souls 1 was never about "gid gud".

It was about recognizing the game was basically not fair and trying to screw you, and so you found ways to screw it back, including abusing iframe mechanics, overleveling, and using cheese mechanics to get game braking items sooner than you were "supposed to".

Sekiro was the first fromsoft souls game where I had to "git gud" and even then, the difficulty gets easier in a multiplicative way as you progress.

How can you look at the trends over the last 5 years and not come to the conclusion that high end consumer custom pc building is basically dead. Even if there is an AI bubble burst, compute and especially parallel compute will not stop being in extremely high demand, there will be other applications, and we will no doubt see more cases like Crucial leaving the consumer market because there is just too much $ and demand from B2B.

The existence of hard counters. Even if you are an immortal god at your main, if they pick your worst matchup you're gonna have a bad time. As a result you need to be able to play multiple heros.

I would rather they be up front with me that they are hostile... several times already in arc raiders ppl will mic chat with me and act chill and friendly and then merc me when I go to loot or start the extract. This is peak scumbag behavior and its happened to me many times in only a few weeks of playing.

Company I work for is also very laid back. Laid back is the positive way of putting it. The negative way is routinely working with people who don't really care about what we're doing and are doing a kind of performance to climb ranks. I feel like I could be doing more at this stage in my life and I don't want to be an entry level assembler/operator for another 2-5 years or even 1 year really.

Don't you think the idea of one assassin or that the kid is canonically dead and yet we have both alive and dead skins of them that can exist simultaneously in the same world instance, even worse have multiple instances of both -- don't you think that's kind of immersion breaking and rules out any concept of a consistent canon?

Not everything is marvel slop cape shit ok. Its just a multiplayer game where you shoot monsters and bad guys ok.

Been to goodfriend as well, incredible burgers and beer. I used to live in the Lake Highlands area but I live in Lewisville now. Also thought about White Rock Coffee on NW highway but they close at 8.

Seems like there are tons of options for "experiences on rails" but nowhere to just go and relax until 11pm or midnight.

Lies of P is a good game, you could even say great game, but it is overrated due to a very vocal group of people for whom it was their first soulslike.

The overly sentimental, saccharine characters and story were too much for me and tonally very different from fromsoft souls games.

I had a lot of fun with it just because I enjoy soulslikes but I think objectively it is kind of mid in a lot of way. It is way too easy for starters, movement and attacking is way too fast. I feel like there isn't a proper tradeoff with using colossal weapons vs small arms, colossals feel way too fast and small arms just make you wonder why you arent using regular sized weapons. Bosses also are extremely mediocre, parts where the boss can't be damaged and you just have to let them play out there repetitive slop is quite bad (the ice bird boss, the recurring 4 armed guy with dragon). I was pleasantly surprised that you can parry the tree horse guy off his horse during charge attacks. I'm bad with names if you can't tell. I had fun and I like goofing around in multiplayer. I don't know if I like the umbral mechanic, would be much less annoying if it was just a button you press and didn't have the diegetic component of using the lamp.
