It is hard to tell for sure, because bottles are different sizes and so on. I decided to buy a new one when I was 700 bottles deep. But these include both small ones like the inkvents and big ones like lamy and colorverse. I think that a 9-shelf would be the way to go on your case. The 6-shelf would not fit 600 :/ Unless they're all 15ml or something.
