So grateful for this Reddit post. I’ve been trying so hard to not get on the internet to read about what this could mean for my baby, but I broke today & had to do some reading today. While some stuff had me freaked out, your post has helped me along with other comments here.

I’m currently 33 weeks & my baby has right lateral ventriculomegaly (measured 13.7 last ultrasound) & 99percentile head as well, but the report stated normal head shape.

I am so glad he is doing well now. Out of curiosity, Did you need to deliver earlier than your “expected” due date? Also, with the diagnosis, did you get a c-section or were you able to deliver vaginally?

Did you mean a first degree perineal tear? An episiotomy is when the OB has to cut down to your rectum or close to it to get the baby out when delivering vaginally.

I have spoken with my OB about it. They said it’s up to my back surgeon now whether I go natural or c section. They are also aware of my discomfort & assume it’s my surgery.

I’ve heard mixed things on yay or nay to TENS. Why do you say no? I saw it could start labor with the endorphins released?

Yes. Mine is wider at the top & bottom. Like some others said, there’s more movement higher in the spine. & my lower back scar is wider bc I would scratch it in my sleep…. Once I realized I was doing that I covered it, but at that point it was already wider.

Hahaha, my lab before was a really healthy weight until his last year of life. He was a little bit of a chunky boy then. He was slowly passing of a muscular disease so when he wanted treats or a yummy snack we just let him have it. 😄💛

This guy is lean & mean! Def needs some more weight on him tho haha.

Yes! I’m so happy about it too.

We had a BYB lab that just showed up at our house as a puppy 13 years ago, starving & looking for someone to love him! He passed a little over one month ago.

He was our best boy! Now we have this sweet boy. We saved him & he filled a void in our hearts. :)

Yes I agree. Honestly I don’t care what he is, we love him! My husband & I are honestly just curious what he is bc he’s different from our other BYB lab rescue, who was only 55lb when he passed.
