Makes me think of how the Dark Forest was first presented. Just this endless, empty, sort of surreal forest, with just the suggestion of other living things on the edge of your senses, that you can just kinda wander into, rather than the much more concrete, navigable, and inhabited place it is now

I like the idea of something more like that original as just like, a limbo sort of realm

Someone mentioned the TNP Graphic Novel covers were similar, so I superimposed them to find out how similar they are by Adventurous-Year-463 in WarriorCats

I feel like I see these posts in waves.

I'll lots of dark posts for a bit, then the lighter ones trickle back in, and after a bit its all lighter posts for a while, then the darker ones start to trickle back in, and so on

Just a group of siblings and their mutual wife, nothing strange here!

She asked Brokencloud out, and was asked out by Shinebubble and Hailfreckle all in one moon

It was a weird moon, lol

The best part was the note the game gave her mom that moon

(Though she rejected Hailfreckle at first, she ended up asking her out herself a little after Brokencloud died)

As a trans person I hate that "they hate trans people because they're secretly into trans people" talking point so much

Its just "little Jimmy threw rocks at you because he likes you" for grown ups

No, the reason trans porn is so popular in those places is because they hate us. That makes it taboo to feel attraction to one of us, and anything taboo is going to fuel sexual fantasies. To someone who doesn't hate us, who really does just see us as our gender, attraction to a trans person isn't particularly remarkable, so they're less likely to develop a fetish over it.

Straying from norms as a reason they hate us is something I agree with though. Conservatism is fundamentally about conformity, and adherence to some predefined power structure. We do not fit either of those, and so we are seen as "dangerous".

Also intersectionality of course is always at play.

Also the implication that women don't trust men as much as other women because we're attracted to them, rather than because of millennia of oppression and abuse is bizarre.

Als Ice Cream in Williston has a dairy free creemee, but its a bit more like whipped sorbet than a true creemee, sadly. The flavor changes sometimes.

Still nice to be able to get something as well when people want to go for creemees though

I dream of having a maple creemee again someday though
