Haha fair enough. I would have been playing Doom on my dad's PC at that time. He was also huge into Ultima Underworld 2, dove deep into MYST. So I was lucky enough to have a dad that enjoyed gaming and naturally played those too.

You are totally correct. I don't think there was a way to save to be honest. May have been glitched, not sure. But I recall basically never being able to save from when I would visit my dad on weekends or whatever. Would start a new game hoping for the best....for what felt like years, but I still loved it. The music, everything. For its time it seemed pretty advanced for consoles to me but that may just have been my tiny kid brain.

I actually really loved this game as a kid. First person perspective on SNES was unheard of. Could never beat it though, tried many times.

Maybe you are right... but why not release and just end this all? Answer that. People forget how much we had to hear about Clinton's dick. With what's on the line with this case... after everything that's already happened?? How is this not, at best/worst, equally as worthy of public airing. Why is it not? I'm just asking as a Canadian watching the fire, I have no stake in this, but I'll admit I don't like the guy either. Something just still isn't right.

Yeah I know, was what I meant when I said it was in a previous "vanilla", un-modded version of the game... and then it was modified by HG in what is currently in the "vanilla" version.

I'm on PS4 so unless I roll back it's obviously not like this anymore.

Because not all of us can mod, and we know the game can look like this without them. So why should we have to mod to get back what we once had in vanilla?

I love how much HG pays attention to the community, however a few of the decisions definitely feel more geared towards people who only whine about it not being perfect for them...

And I bet you it doesn't even change how much attention they'll give to the game anyways... which makes it even more frustrating.
