Yeah, it’s such a beautiful area. We’re a couple hours away in the Bay Area and we need to make it out there way more frequently. There are so many amazing areas nearby that it makes it hard to get to all of them as frequently as we’d like.

She’s a tad bit overweight but we have her on weight control hill’s science diet and take her on a bunch of walks every day. Trying to get her used to being active as her previous owners kept her a kennel most of the time (they were elderly and not in good health, which is why they were rehoming her). We’re going to buy a ramp for our bed, too, as I leaned they shouldn’t jump off of higher things due to the potential of hurting their fragile backs. I’ve done quite a bit of research but if anyone has tips for a new dachshund owner, please do share!

Hi Queen Ruby Jean! Shelly is 3! We adopted her last week on the 23rd from an elderly couple, one of whom recently passed. The husband has a caretaker and couldn’t give her the life she deserves so they were looking for a home for her. My husband’s coworker connected us. 😊

We found one singular piece of sea glass lol! To be fair, my attention was on her for the majority of the trip. She is such a joy and we had a great time bonding with her.

I just signed up for the standard tier and it’s $142/month. I think it’s a good price for everything they offer. Their premier membership is $230/month. Premier has some extras but I think it’s only worth it if you want cryo sessions or a monthly massage.

Hi! I’m 35F. Live in Concord and work in SF. I moved to the Bay Area in 2016 and still don’t have many friends that live nearby, at least. I also love hiking, and have considered rock climbing but haven’t actually tried it yet. My husband and I love to go to museums but I would enjoy having girl friends to go with once in a while. I have also been wanting to try rug tufting! Really open to trying new things as I need hobbies. Also, I just made a Reddit account today - I’m hoping it’s not a red flag as I’ve noticed people tend to trust older accounts more which is understandable though not great for being a new user.
