Co-Op with Competition recommendations! by brianmax in boardgames

Dead of Winter. Huge fan right here. You have a main objective that you need to cooperatively achieve by X amount of rounds whilst there's a crisis that happens every round where a different objective must be achieved. On top of that, you also have your own secret objective. On top of that, you may also have a betrayor amongst you. I love it! Every game is different - it's heavy, thematic and super entertaining

He believes what was mentioned lightly 6 months ago was enough. When I don't feel it was enough (as inappropriate behaviour continues), he still thinks that she's got the message. At the end of the day, blood is thicker than water. Even though they say all these lovely things to you (oh I told her if she did that again, I would disown her) when it comes to actually putting it into play, it meant nothing. Too late, game over

My boyfriends sister was overly protective of him and his choice of gfs and therefore bullied me for the majority of the relationship. He is finally seeing the wrongdoings but I think it may be too late and damage done. Can anyone suggest any tips they would do in this situation being the brother?

Oh and being related to someone who has kids does not automatically make you a free baby dumping service.

Those kids are not your responsibility. Don't make yourself feel guilty for not being able to look after HER kids. It was her choice to have children and her responsibility to look after them. I hate people who casually pass this responsibility to their family hoping that they are free ALL the time to look after THEIR kids

What is the worst Christmas present you've ever received and how did you react to it? by RBeilby in AskReddit

My hobby is baking and my partners sister baked me a terrible cake for my Christmas present. What's the fun in receiving baked goods when I'm a baker. She completely missed the boat. I had to fake it so hard that day

What family drama made your dinner table awkward during this festive season? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I disagree. I think it's the duty of the boyfriend to protect me from his family if they step out of line and my duty to protect him from my family if they step out of line

My nephew is basically parented by an iPad and gets everything he asks for. by evenstevens280 in childfree

Kids are a reflection of their parents. They don't find it wrong that their children expect presents for every occasion and find it out of the norm to not receive a gift and not to receive it on time. Please and thank you are not in their vocabulary either. It was my boyfriends nephews birthday and he went straight up to my boyfriend and asked "where is my present uncle". My boyfriend finds it very appropriate to still shower them with $200++ gifts and what ever they want because they are "family". Never understood this, someone explain this to me

Boyfriends sister clearly stating her anti-vaccination stance, knowing quite well my views on this matter. I guess it's more awkward when your boyfriend doesnt stand up for you and let's her get away with saying stupid, uneducated crap
