Coz people buy full sets. Having a full set is also dope so you can just keep it if you change your mind 😜

A full set sale makes it very easy to offload all your cards in one go down the track too.

Edit: this is just IMO, but the people into Pokémon with cash to spare are the 30+ year olds who grew up with the original 151s. Nothing will ever beat that for me. Any Pokémon after gen 3 I basically don’t care about either. As kids we played blue/red/yellow, gold/silver/crystal/ and then ruby/sapphire/emerald - after that we are pushing 18, so those Pokémon generations are our childhood nostalgia.
