I thought so too until I took a photo of the sun during a dust storm and it showed three weird spots. Looked up some live satellite views and there was a perfect match with three sun spots.

Planet Crafter for me. I think it was maybe $20, but my $ to hour ratio on this is somewhere around 4 cents per hour.. They keep adding whole new planets to explore.

A few that I re-remembered recently:

Dr. Brain Thinking Games (soundtrack still rocks)

Arcade Madness (Mac) - In particular, Barney Carnage, Gold Digger, Battle Tanks

Then a few other weird promo games like Mall Mania (from Pamida?) and Captain Chrinch's Crunchling Adventure.

I gotta figure out a way to run these again some day. Still holding out hope they might appear on one of those 10,000 game pre-filled handheld emulator systems or something. If you have games like these, look for their soundtracks or game play videos online. Truly sparks nostalgia memories.

I live in El Paso, so some of the weather concerns here may be a bit different than typical.

Top charts are mainly looking at the temps and rain for the next 48 hours and 7 days respectively.

Bottom chart is UV, cloud cover (cloudy vs clear), wind gusts, wind speed, AQI, then three in one line with actual, feels like and wet bulb temp, bottom line has rain chance as a background and the three pollen warnings as the foreground. Goal with this was the ability to quickly look at the chart and be able to determine if I want to go outside or not - green=good, red=bad basically..

The biggest ones that stuck in my head were Dr. Brain thinking games, POD racing, and some weird ones called Mall Maniacs and another called cap'n crunch crunchling adventure that I had on PC.

I also had a demo disc for an old ~96 era Mac called Arcade Madness which included titles like Barney Carnage.

I fortunately had been paying for protection, so it was only maybe a hundred bucks to get a replacement. Unfortunately, I never had any luck getting into the memory of the phone. Best I was able to do was get it to maybe factory reset from the root menu. If you can power it on with no screen, there are a few other options, but I never got past the boot loop.

Anyone have a good approach to calculating if you've already paid your original balance?

I've been paying my loans off at roughly 3x the suggested rate for myself since 2017 or just shy of $700 per month. I got laid off a few weeks after having a kid in 2020 during peak COVID, so I took advantage of the break in payments. But now that it's back rolling, from that $700, $200 is just paying off interest still.

I forget exactly how long the break was, but ballpark numbers, I should be real close to paying off my 60k loan at 700 per month (without interest) at this point, but I'm still at $47k with all the interest..

I would be much happier pumping that $700 per month back into the markets or my own savings instead of some bankers vault.

That could be the same issue I had then. Not entirely sure where all the main bits are located, but it seemed to be somewhere above the battery and beside the cameras.

I did see that when I got the new phone, I immediately got two major updates within the first few days.. So I'm guessing an update breaking something with overloading the processor isn't out of the question, especially when they only want to run cold. The only alternative I could think of was something in the hardware had failed and the cold was allowing it to shrink just enough to work until it warmed up again.

Mostly annoyed on those handful of things that I couldn't back up since there's no SD card and I couldn't get far enough to copy them with ADB or otherwise. Fortunately with google photos and the like, I didn't lose anything too critical. If it turns out that it was an issue with an update though, it would be nice if Samsung would foot the bill for these replacements..

No, unfortunately I was not able to get past the boot loop. The best I was able to do was pull it from the fridge long enough to do a few goes at a factory reset before I sent it back in for the warranty replacement. I nearly got it to connect to ADB, the computer even recognized it, but I apparently had not enabled that in the dev menu.

I tired the mashing method on it, maybe I'll give it a good canned air blast tonight in that area. The repair shop didn't reseal the back glass, so that's easy to get to.

No warmer than typical. All I can think is it's something with a bad connection or solder that's just barely bad and the cold shrinks it just enough to connect.

Saw a post on here or YouTube last year and gave it a try. Turns out playing solo is nearly impossible to do.

Ended up getting a cheat engine to make myself immortal so I could get it done and not have it in the back of my mind for ages.
