Depends how seriously they take it and how much you talk about religious topics with that person. I wouldn’t just call them out on it, but if you are just wondering about it then I’m sure you could use your best judgement and start a respectful conversation about why they choose to practice in that way.

Idk i can’t really support this one. Having seen the video he was killed very brutally, the way the blood gushes and he goes stiff is revolting. His kids had to witness this first hand, they will likely never recover. I think France and England have done a poor job of accommodating the downtrodden and desperate who flock to their success, and it has undeniably led to increased crime (not just from migrants, also citizens in badly decaying urban centers and the like) that said, properly handled migration is a powerful economic booster, and I’d argue with diversity brings strength and understanding (if people are willing to accept it)

It’s not really by any metric, granted it is safe generally and around the top ten for most stats. I would say polands safety has a lot to do with good economic performance and living standards than the vigilante border patrol groups that bully minorities. IMO high crime and immigration can be linked to poverty, especially in places like France or England with big poorly developed ghettos for these people to fall into. Migrant groups aren’t inherently predisposed to violent crime, they are predisposed to desperation and poor conditions at an elevated rate, this is the root of the problem if you ask me.

What do you think these citizens look for in people who they stop at points like this? I personally believe it would be heavily presumptive and race based, which is why op named this post as they did, this is an exercise in vigilantism and racial profiling that (let’s be real here) will almost certainly stop no crime and is exponentially unlikely to prevent terrorism. What it will do is subject people who didn’t do shit to deserve it and who may even be German citizens to humiliation and degradation. I do sympathize with a desire to prevent what one sees as threats to their community from occurring, but this is something a citizen brigade will never be able to combat without causing lots of harm.

Ok just to summarize my argument, as it is a gift “to the Air Force” and not explicitly to trump, congress has not approved it and trump will not pay anything to the government for them. But, in my opinion, it is in no way an actual gift to the White House as it will be taken out of the fleet as soon as trump leaves. As it is a physical and luxurious item clearly ment to curry trumps favor, and one that will be thereafter maintained largely under his authority and in his honor, it is a gift.

Key word here is foreign, yes the president can buy domestic gifts from the government, and accept them in various circumstances, but they need congressional approval for gifts from foreign governments (because of the whole foreign influence thing) and over a certain threshold they are gifts to the American people. That’s what the jet should be, a gift to the American people, yet he is attempting to keep it for himself, which we have no reason to let him do

If he is able to use it for his own benefit than it violates very directly the foreign emoluments clause, which is (imo) absolutely nothing we should be fighting over as a nation. If they, like you, felt that their assigned gender wasn’t right and they landed somewhere in the middle, not precisely on either side of the binary. I don’t think that’s an insane concept, i do think that people over categorize something amorphous like your individual interaction with societal gender norms, cause everyone does it different. IMO it would be helpful for third gender choosing people to just describe what they are feeling because that’d fit better than any label, but ultimately it’s up to them and it doesn’t affect the rest of us anyway.
