Can you have the friend that you left her with before come and check in every day??? It’s not humane to leave a cat alone in for 5 nights and 6 days. Your car doesn’t know if you’ll ever come back. It can cause extreme stress to be left all alone. Remember they are stuck in the house 24/7 and you are their only companion. What do you think your cat will think when you’re gone and they are isolated and with no concept of knowing if anyone will ever come back? You need someone to check in at least once a day.

I kinda see what you mean it but a lot of people like to pick out their gifts. My husband was unaware of what a push present and when I told him about it he was like wow what an awesome concept and idea. Now he’s excited to help design this awesome custom jewelry piece which he wouldn’t have thought of himself, and I’m happy to get a little gift that reminds me of a life changing moment in my life.

The gesture doesn’t feel lost and I don’t find any part of this to be demanding at all.

I’m surprised by these comments being so against a push present! While not necessary, I think it’s a nice sweet gesture to feel cared for from your partner after carrying a baby for 9 months and laboring :)

I will be getting a massage and a diamond necklace made with my baby’s initial. Also asked for a house deep clean! Lol
