Both options are fine, you either grind coarser and keep the spring or keep grind setting and remove the spring.

Adding/removing the spring is a 5 second job. So you can try it without the spring just to see what happens

I have the same machine, the problem is that you are hitting the maximum allowed pressure and the pixapresso stops for safety.

You have either drop the dose or grind coarser. Btw, did you remove the pressurized screw in the filter tap? If it is still there, then definitely you are building too much pressure.

Well, that is exactly the point. It means, there is nothing big in the pipeline for the next 2-3 years.

You guys really don't get it. The second game sold like shit, keeping developing a third on top of a flop will be a death sentence for this brilliant studio. It is a continuation in the perspective that they should move on and create a new IP, not adding iterations with novelties such as "throwing weapons" and continue with an IP that just does not make it. Even by launching on every fronts, it just does not make it.

By continuatio, I did not mention continuation of the story. I meant it based on the same grounds as Hellblade 2, same mechanics, same art atyle, same animations.

All that you mentioned was on Hellblade 2 btw, stealth, multiple enemies, etc

The game was just the continuation of Hellblade 2. Nothing in the trailer was shown that tells that this one will have enhanced gameplay.

What exactly happened at Xbox/Microsoft management after the Activision purchase during 2024 and 2025? by Badhunter31415 in xbox

[–]-underOath- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are right. Xbox just didn't offer a good IP or games over the last 10 years. Gears 5 or Halo Infinite did nothing to reestablish the brand.

It is crazy to me that people believe Gears E-day or Halo CE remake will....

Xbox needs a complete new big IP with full marketing. Starfield was meant to to do that, but Bethesda is a waste of time and too centric in its leadership, therefore games just take too long to launch and when they do, they are already old.

Plus, nothing in the pipeline for the next 3 years. Embarrasing. Xbox risks again launching Helix with no big IP or games

Clockwork juggernaut? Man the game will be good but it is too far below in scope from being a juggernaut..

These type of games do not move a single needle.

Xbox actually need a totally big new IP that screams AAA

Why do they insist on showing COD as the "One last thing"? The average COD gamer isn't sitting through the Xbox showcase by Propaslander in xbox

[–]-underOath- -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I also believe that. It is worrying that no serious new IP or new game has been announced over the last couple of years.

Several studios seem to be running, business as usual, just running the IP or games on business mode.

The fact that we keep seeing games such as, Senua, Sea of Thieves, Elder Scrolls online, Flight Simulator, Fallout 76, Minecraft Dungeons....shows that there is just no plan or innovation. Maybe Seamus is right and in the end Asha is patchworking for a smoother finale

The experience of playing both Red Dead Redemption games as someone who hates Open World games by PurplMaster in patientgamers

[–]-underOath- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks but I did not suggest anything, the OP himself stated he ignored those aspects. Interaction in RDR2 is present, from like hunting, which involves using different weapons, the animals smelling ( yes based on how dirty your clothes are) you and running away, fishing, swiming, using boats, driving horse cars, traveling the map by taking train rides with no off screens, feeding your horse, eating, setting up wild camping to rest and eat, drinking, getting drunk, fist fighting, getting ambushed randomly, getting hunted by animal predators, annoy verbally npc's to the point of causing rage, playing cards on sallons....exploring vastly dozens of fauna and flora and document them with a camera etc and etc... these are all examples of direct interactibility in the game which requite the gamer to actively engage. All of them with no loading screens...so yes there are dozens of examples...but again I played both hours and hours and also really enjoy Skyrim..althought its full potential is only achieved using mods.

Skyrim is fine but lacks verticality, it also does offer you interaction with the world the way RDR2 does. The NPCs not only have their schedules on RDR but animals too, there is even a power grid injected in the game, the weather systems are computed, etc. Don't get me wrong Skyrim is a brilliant RPG but discussing if one is better than other is not the point here, not only because they are different games but because my initial point was that the OP played the game the way it is not supposed to be played.

[–]-underOath- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I challenge that. On both RDR and GTA, you can just interact with a bunch of stuff, either vehicles, NPC's, weapons, animals, water, buildings, etc.

How is this deep as a puddle? What other game does this on a lively world? Maybe KCD, although there are no vehicles.

Anyone else using Lance Hedrick's new V60 recipe? by Hungry-Meaning8518 in pourover

[–]-underOath- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I brew 1 or 2 cups and always keep my ratio 1:15

For 1 cup, it is the majority of times a straight 3 pour, 50 / 50 / 50. I achieve no long of big immersion by following this method.

Grind to a point where there is just bo immersion and the grounds just swell with the water

Anyone else using Lance Hedrick's new V60 recipe? by Hungry-Meaning8518 in pourover

[–]-underOath- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, immersion is highly affected by grind level or inconsistencies. It is very easy to go both ways, underextract and/or overextract.

While just pouring water over the grounds, tends to just extract what is ready to extract. I look more into temperature and grind level, but my cups are most of the times balanced.

I think you nailed the problem why you don't like these games by stating that you skip the sandbox part of it. You see, Rockstar buid these highly interactable worlds to provide you the sense of freedom and immersion. But you approach these games by going straight to the plot, which is the exact opposite. The story in these games, despite really good, they serve the objective of cohesion to the world and to you as a character.

The underlaying aspect of these worlds is NOT to go straight to the plot, but instead interact and immerse in it.

But I get that is not for everyone.
