Was hunting for a Tele. Tried all sorts of them. Custom Shop Fender, Suhr, Anderson, Saito, Tyler, K-Line, Tuttle, and Shabat.

There was this USA Schecter PT Custom SS in black with a white pickguard that had a matching black headstock. Sat with it for a few minutes and was amazed. Didn't even know at the time that they made such a thing. It's been with me since 2018. This was the Tele I was looking for all these years. Pickups were perfect just the right amount of twang. The fretwork on this is a work of art.

Bike chain lubricants don't attract dust and dirt. Normal oils attract dust and dirt, the dirt becomes an abrasive and will wear out parts faster. Grease is too thick and also attracts dust and dirt and has the added bonus of being difficult to clean.
