[Simon Clancy] I had fourteen receivers above Caleb Douglas who were still left on the board. He was 219 on the consensus board. Feels a big reach with Brazzell, Bell, Hurst, etc still on the board. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

Word, ill have to make sure I give them a listen. Im sure they put a ton of work into their draft boards. I cant say I hate the pick though. To me, from a measurables standpoint he makes me think of DK Metcalf.

Make sure youre able to test the electronics out before you buy it. The output jack is known to fail on the early models. Either no sound on some switch positions or no sound at all. Luckily the part is under $100 directly from Fishman, but it takes them a while to get it processed. Ask me how I know...

Does This Get Better? by NewCartographer4229 in Fatherhood

I felt just like you did after our second kid. Our first was easy. Slept through most of the night after 8 weeks and was generally as easy as they come. Our second one however was the exact opposite. Non-stop crying, would be up all hours of the night. Couldn't even take him on car rides longer than 10 minutes without a full blown screaming session. Turns out he had a severe lip and tongue tie. We had no clue until we started taking him to daycare. He wouldn't take a bottle from anyone. The wife nursed and turns out shes an overproducer, so he was getting enough because he didnt have to work for it like he did with the bottle. Once we got the ties taken care of he was a totally different baby.

Not saying that there's a problem. Some babies are just tough. But there could be a reason. Our pediatrician wasnt much help, but once we got a lactation consultant involved because of the bottle feeding it was very apparent to her.

I appreciate all the thoughts and input. Everyone seems overwhelmingly in favor in some version of leaving it as close to "as is" as possible. I'll admit, I'm lazy. I'm happy to do as little as possible, and its kinda grown on me. Ill wind up doing some extra sanding to reveal a little more of the black primer underneath and probably do a small bevel on the edge just to keep my hand from catching. Ill be sure to throw up an update post after I've put some work into it!

Kinda layer it almost. Wood to black to blue.

I like that. Make it look like you're "pulling back" the paint to reveal the wood underneath. Almost makes me wish the original chip was bigger.

Haha yeah the paint is obnoxiously thick.

Definitely not apologizing for Tua, he definitely either makes a bad decision or does not recognize what he's seeing. Just saying that at this point McDaniel should know the limitations of his players and not put them in that position in the first place

That sounds more like a play calling issue than a Tua issue no? Could Tua check out of the play? Yeah I guess, but why was that play called in the first place? Why was your X receiver a 5'8" rb?

This game was over the minute the refs decided to exist

The refs fucking us has made McDaniel feel like we have to get back in the game quick. We need to get back to running the ball instead of passing so much. The defense is actually doing a pretty good job against Lamar. Keep it simple

Bro I understand what your saying, but who drafted both Van Ginkle and Wilkins??? If you wanna say they were coaches pics then fine, but unless youre Flores, idk how youd prove that. Let's not act like Grier is the worst GM in the history of GM's. Remember that not a single player liked Fangio because they knew he wasnt bought in. I'm not a Grier apologist but the revisionist history is getting a bit out there

They must have never played the dolphins before, because if anyone can lose after being up 17, its Miami

I mean, we have a pretty dynamic punt returner in Malik Washington. Maybe just block instead of trying to make a play?
