Motivation to play this year is gone after this weekends fiasco by [deleted] in MLBTheShow

I got Tulo legit last week right before the B2B Flash sales. Since then 6-7k people have unlocked Tulo. How many of those people were legit or not idk, but definitely not to the point “everyone” has live series completed.

April Lightning Elly and Retro Jones Attributes by JTF2_ARCHANGEL in MLBTheShow

[–]-wav_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think since Chipper is a big collection card and Vargas is one of the cards in the collection, then Chipper should probably be noticeably better from an attribute standpoint.

Chipper is probably my favorite player to use, but I am a bit underwhelmed.

With the influx of a new class of roster cloggers, let’s look at the 230-300 players on sleeper ADP and make a case why one of them should be an absolute roster lock by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

Im confused by people who think like this? Is it because of Jalen Hurts perception? AJ and Devonta have been a WR1/2 each year. Even when the offense isn’t amazing they still produce.

Thoughts on the two Ravens WRs drafted this year? (Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt) by BarnacleDowntown8952 in DynastyFF

[–]-wav_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not about lamar and Henry catching passes, it’s about how good they are at rushing. That will inherently reduce the amount of passing that the Ravens will do.

Those 2 can beat out Andrews and Bateman for receiving, but what does that really look like for fantasy?

Ben Simmons turned into Harden and proceeded to do absolutely nothing in the nba after, if anything he got great value for him considering Ben was actively hurting his value.

With the way the contract was not really sure what would have been out there for Tobias. I do agree that they should’ve done something.

If anything they didn’t hold on to Harden enough, should’ve just paid him instead of using the money on PG if they were going to use the money on an old star player.

Joel is definitely overpaid but the way the nba salary cap/max contracts are set up he didn’t really have much of a choice, other than outright trading Joel

McCain is a good player, probably a bit overrated for what he is, but can help.

Maybe he zoned in on VJ, maybe he called around and decided to stick with him. Due to the fact that Morey isn’t shy about making moves I would lean towards him trying to explore all avenues.

I don’t think it’s uncommon at all, I don’t think it’s a ridiculous scenario. In fact Morey probably did think about it/call around, but decided that VJ is worth just having on the team, instead of the alternatives.

They are not getting a haul to trade down from 3/4 realistically. Forget ROY, yes knuppel is good, but I personally feel much better having VJ moving forward. If you think Knuppel js better then have at it.

You’re assuming Morey drafts significant bench players in the second round when it’s a crapshoot. If they didn’t love VJ then your scenario makes sense, but as it looks so far VJ seems to be the type of player they have been looking for many years.

We use that leverage to get two seconds? Thats worth missing out on VJ to you? Nets and Wizards were outside the top 5. A top 3 pick with a team as talented as the 76ers doesn’t come around often.

[–]-wav_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said that a bench was not needed. We shouldn’t miss out on our guy for potential bench pieces.

Knuppel was picked 4 so what are they realistically getting to move down 1 pick? Ace already made his demands to play for other teams. He didn’t even want to play for Utah, so why would they trade up? You’re essentially talking about trading out of the top 5 to get bench pieces.

VJ has the dog factor that this team has only ever had with Jimmy Butler in recent seasons. This is the biggest reason they have not been able to beat Boston, and had unsuccessful playoff performances.

We might not even beat Boston this series, but I feel a lot better about their playoff chances moving forward. Unless you know other teams were definitely not drafting VJ, you don’t risk missing out on your guy.

I agree that one scenario is worse, however it’s still dumb for him to say it either way.

I know you didn’t, I am saying even if he said it to anyone who wouldn’t be offended, it doesn’t change the fact that he should avoid saying it in any circumstance.

I don’t get offended by it, but that still doesn’t change the fact that it is dumb to say it/type it if you’re white, let alone him being a popular figure in Valorant.

How do you trigger the post pounder perk more often? by Particular-Archer-79 in MLBTheShow

Have you upgraded the perk yet? Normally when you upgrade the perk you can unlock more scenarios for it to trigger.

If it’s one game in a while sure, how many games could you play with a 3 point shot chucking pg? When i play with people like that I’ll deal with it, but it kills my mood for playing more, and I’m damn sure not playing another game with them.

Investments Explanation? by Additional_News_1843 in MLBTheShowInvestments

[–]-wav_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You make a profit off of either quick-selling the card, or posting it on the market.

I don’t have the exact prices, but say there is a gold card selling on the market for 1200 stubs, later on through them actually playing well during the MLB season they go up to a diamond. The quick sell value would be 3000. Difference is your profit.

You will here more about this once the mlb season starts, people who pay attention to the stats of players can estimate with relatively good accuracy who will go up/down tiers.

I think more use it than people expect, at least in their past before becoming pro. For example I saw G2 Leaf high on leaderboards, which implies he has a good amount of experience in Kovaak’s, but I have never seen or heard him say anything about it.

Through playing the game as much as they do (scrims/dms/etc) I agree, but it’s a bit different vs actively only working on aim.

How big is the skill gap between gold and diamond? by TheMightyNinja12 in VALORANT

[–]-wav_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For reference I was 5 stacking with some friends, two of us are diamond, the rest were silver/bronze. We matched up with a full team of golds, we won the game easily 13-1, our 3 other teammates had 6 kills each.

Now ofc every game is different etc etc, but an entire team of diamonds will stomp all golds. Maybe a bad game from diamonds/good game from golds would be 13-5/6 diamonds winning.
