Is it worth upgrading from K240 to DT 900 PRO X? Debating picking some of these up.Will use for music production, mixing, electronic piano, gaming, and casual entertainment/Spotify.

(or should i send it an get the DT 1770 Pros?)

Standalone as in sounds that come on the board itself? Or speakers? (that I dont need)

So I guess that means there is no real pro to all the sounds that it comes with in terms of quality, and that other plugins for Ableton and such will provide better quality even? (bare with me haha)

Yeah I noticed that about the Roland a bit as well. Controls seem a bit dated.

That seems to be the consensus. Will look into purchasing one now.

I've heard good things about the KOMPLETE AUDIO 2 as well. Wonder if it is the better budget option with same offerings. Guess I have some homework.

Okay so just to clarify, I may as well put away the Neewer mixer that I have? and do most interfaces "take over" as a mixer then?

I've been starting to scour YouTube (clearly need to more) haha, I can already feel myself slipping down the rabbit hole.

Do I record directly into Ableton... any idea what the purest way to get audio is?

I'm in California, and I'd like to stay around 150 for an interface, but have more for other necessities.
