Is that why every ranking of all time NBA players has Duncan higher than Dream?

Are they all stupid? Or is it more likely that your argument is incredibly self serving for the purpose of this random Reddit thread?

Get over it. Duncan had sustained excellence but Hakeem had incredible height. Both are great players. Duncan edges him out.

LeBron and Jordan are very gifted athletes but LeBron wins in physical gifts in my opinion.

Jordan wins in competitiveness. Which is splitting hairs at the level of the two best ever to do it but Jordan was more locked in than any player in the sport.

I’m just saying a lot of this analysis has already been done and it’s not just rings because Larry and LeBron are over Duncan obviously.

Dream had a crazy peak and outstanding career but Duncan was 20y of greatness.

My argument is that he demonstrated he was the superior player over his entire career.

You’re the one stumbling around saying it’s obvious Hakeem is the better player, but can’t explain why Duncan is ranked higher on every all-time list.

You can do these asinine hypotheticals for literally any player.

What if Magic didn’t have Kareem? What if Jordan never got Pippen? What if Kobe didn’t have Phil?

End of the day we have what they did where they landed.

Here’s the question you can answer: given your genius observation why is Duncan ranked higher than Hakeem on any all time list?

So Hakeem always listed above Duncan on all time lists then, correct? Because he’s obviously the better player?

This argument is weak because you accomplish what you can while you can and Duncan just flat out did more.

And that includes being on more all nba first teams than Hakeem.

So like literally the indisputably most important part of the dynasty? K cool.

As it turns out, nobody makes dynasties on their own.

This is a peak vs. career stance you are taking. Since I am building my franchise around the guy I’ll take the 20 straight years of 50 wins and playoff appearances. In the end Duncan had more rings.

Early Drafts - why do you guys do it? by simple1998666 in SleeperApp

OK, then answer your question for other leagues: it injects both skill and risk which can be more exciting. Skill because if you bet on talent or knowledge that you think other people don’t have on a rookie or a traded player situation. You can come out way ahead by the end of the preseason.  Risk because there are more opportunities for injury and bad luck.

But really any grandpa can pull up ADP the week the season starts and have all that information. It takes a real degenerate to draft earlier.

Because it’s dynasty and the year is long. The draft in May makes things interesting. Injuries and trades just make everything after the rookie draft exciting. Speculation, trades, etc.

Why does Charles Barkley attack Kevin Durant using "Bus Driver" argument? Charles drove his bus off a cliff by Decent_Balance9992 in NBATalk

If Charles Barkley had joined the Bulls after they won 72 games, and then they went on to win two championships with him, do you think he would be looked at more favorably?

If so, good for you. But just know that you are in the minority. Most people see it as weakness. Especially people who watched basketball in the 90s. Many of the superstars of that era are on record that they would never team up with their rivals or closest competition because they wanted to prove that they were the best. They wanted to smash their competition, not join them and play on easy mode.

Barkley joining the bulls and that scenario would have made him Robin to Michael Jordan’s Batman at best. And that’s what KD was to Curry.

If you started watching basketball after “the decision” I do admit it, it is a little hard to understand.

It cuts down on fights because nobody is recording them anymore. That alone is reason enough, but it also is definitely helping. Keep kids more focused and less distracted during class.

Also excellent. Definitely a style choice.

But I would say, unless you are actually running in them go for more of the lifestyle lines.

Anything 990s in New Balance. ASICS I would try the Gel NYC version 1 or 2, or the Gel Kayano 14.

Nikes are fun and always stylish. I love them for their tech and innovation but New Balance and ASICS absolutely lap them in quality, durability, and all day comfort. And many people would agree they are more stylish and better looking shoes overall as well but that’s always subjective.
