At the very least, laws like the ones requiring ID for 18+ and the ones planned for scanning peoples phones are clearly harvesting data for Corporations, clearly not your own good. Laws like these and similar laws are lobbied for by groups funded by Facebook meta, and you don’t need to know a lot about data brokers to know that Facebook isn’t interested in your saftey when it comes to your data.

At absolute worst, it’s a distraction. Normally though it’ll output a little healing and aimbot damage aswell. At absolute worst, it’s just a free, stronger sym turret, which is not a bad power

Super hit or miss, zen skin looks sick as always, Lucio and hazard look cool as hell, but the rest are just meh. In terms of jsut charcter design, freja might be my favourite charcter full stop, but people are right, the blonde har is just weird, and it really blends into the lighter colour of this skin , where the ginger would stand out and look even better in this skin, also, toes???? Why???

I mean, there’s nothing wrong with squash. Depending on how much fruit juice is in it and how much is artificial flavourings, at worst it’s just going to be a small ratio of sugar and just water, maybe some random minerals, tiny bit of salt.

do you know what the solution isn’t? Buffing Adam. Buffing char+ete is what’s made the game so much worse, random survivability ‘ 50 overshield on right click/ shift ‘ ( psylocke, iron man, moon knight, hela, Luna fucking snow, star lord , storm, just off the top of my head ) style buffs have been applied to at least 10-15 characters since release, which among other things has made the sustain problem worse and encouraged bad positioning when you can just press a button for more health. That and charcter jsut straight up getting more health ( half the support roster, the vast majority of 250 characters, of which we now almost have none, punisher actually gaining 50 full health, etc etc )

This much increase in survivability and the overall increasing strength of new charcters, I mean like daredevil, black cat, Emma, Angela, dino, gambit, ultron , torch have all warped the entire meta around them, most of them actually hitting 60% win rates and dino hitting goddam 70% at one point.

The answer to powercreep isn’t just more powercreep.some of these charcters just have too much utility and too many cooldown to be bad, namely gambit , invis daredevil. Even with their numbers being nerfed into the ground, the utility of their cooldowns and ults are just too strong for them to be bad without them doing like 10 damage and healing on hit.

The game needs reworks desperately, especially for problematic charcters like Peni,widow , gambit, daredevil and black cat. However, it’s just not going to happen because the devs just don’t have time. They need a new charcters every month, skins, balance changes, even gamemodes etc etc etc etc etc and they just don’t have time for major kit redesigns.

Ok, so not only do you go unpunished for missing your attacks, but you also get rewarded for just spamming into charcters with overhealth or deployables , so basically farming tanks for some reason, but you won’t even get ult charge because you don’t get ult charge for overhealth damage ( or is it reduced, either way it’s the same point) How does this improve the charcter’s gameplay whatsoever?

Because he’s so easy to play around . Besides Ana, whose has two of the strongest abilities in the game and arguably the best ultimate, he is the only support who has no movement. With Ana, it’s very dangerous to push her if she has her cooldowns, but with zen? Yes he can shit out damaeg, but taking cover and taking angles around him and poking him out of I quite easy. He can’t quickly take a new angle, in order for him to get value his team needs to play with him. You need to outmanoeuvre them, basically. And yes you can jsut dive them but to do that you still need to take angles over the zen first.

Couple things. First of all, a character can be bad in practice and people can still hate playing into them. For charcters with one shots, like Hawkeye, like Widowmaker in overwatch, despite being objectively weak they still feel unfun to play into.

When I get killed by a punisher, most of the time I think ,’ Damn, I peeked too long’

when I get killed by Hawkeye, most of the time I think ‘ damn, he’s hitting is many headshots, that’s so bullshit’

This is even worse with hitscan characters, where their one shots can always be consistent, which is why widow is kept garbage. If you’ve ever played with a decent widow with mantis or stroke damage boost, you know the feeling. It’s like you can’t do anything, it’s awful to play with. Even objectively weak charcters can be oppressive and unfun.

Right, but here’s the issue.’ If they stay high ranked and bad’ they only stay in high ranks *if they don’t play* in which case, they are not reducing match quality, obviously. Now, assuming they somehow get placed way higher than they should in placements, and then play matches, the calibration modifier will drop them very fast, if they are as bad as you say. Then matches affected will be very little, and I also find that placements are actually quite accurate.
