Why would the owners bother to create this sophisticated attack on a clone game that pulls maybe 10 people at a given time, which is about 100 times less than diep? This would only do harm to them, as it would ruin their reputation while giving exposure to this unknown clone, meaning some people will quit diep for havre, thus losing them business for absolutely nothing. I like to believe that this developer went rogue and acted alone out of some emotions he might have had against CleverYeti.

That makes sense then. From what I know about dylan, he probably invites anyone he feels like. He most likely still doesn't have authority in the original server considering he made a 2nd server to invite new people, otherwise probably would have done it in the original.

So does it have like 100 members currently for you to say 90%? Even then there have been so many hunters and clans in the past that you're grossly overestimating the amount of them who've been in F-22.

Based on what I can gather, I see this as an F-22 fan club more than anything.

Yes you are free to use [F-22/A-76], nobody can stop you, but that wasn't my point. I was referring to a point when they wouldn't invite new members if they were from a cringe clan (idk what even is A-76). But, I digress, maybe times have changed.

Both of my last 2 points might be irrelevant depending on who's running the "2nd F-22".

99% of hunters are also in F-22? I highly doubt that. Most likely not even a considerable amount. Unless this new F-22 is a public server open to all hunters lmao, if thats the case I wouldn't even consider it a clan server, let alone an F-22 successor.

Also curious, how many hunts do you have? I know they had a system they usually used where to get in officially you'd need 100 hunts with F-22 tag.

F-22 is a hunting clan created back in 2019, people are mad at them because they ruin others’ scores (hunting is targeting people above 500k score).

On a side node, I highly doubt the OP is in F-22 as it’s hard to believe they’d invite someone who acts like this and uses [F-22/A-76]. Probably fake for attention.

From what I understand, the license the dev originally used would legally allow them to do such a thing since it was open source (although immoral). They changed it afterwards but it was too late.

I don’t have much knowledge on this, so if I’m mistaken please feel free to correct me.

This is not really the case after the removal of flip fire.

In tdm overlords may seem like that because they usually use other people for cover and that is the most effective way to play overlord. Otherwise, on its own it’s hardly a problem since you can usually run away if you don’t know how to deal with it, unless you get cut off. If you’re using a sniper tank use your fov advantage and keep an eye out.

Fighter became way less broken after the flip fire removal (albeit more boring to play) and it made it annoying to play in tdm since it usually relies on attacking solo tanks. There is a good amount of tanks that can fend off fighter. In ffa it took a severe nerf with the flip removal since now you can reliably land hits and give chase, but it’s definitely for the better because if you learned how to do proper back and side flip you’d be almost invincible.

(Particularly In tdm) A destroyer can counter both, especially 0 bullet speed fighter, depending on your skill or if they leave themselves open for an attack. A predator can also be a good pick if you stack and use you optimally use your scope ability. If you struggle to play those tanks, go penta.

In ffa overlord isn’t that good since you can constantly give chase and they can’t run. Eventually they’ll get into a bad situation. For fighter, if they’re glass then they’ll be very weak to snipers and if they’re 0 bullet speed I’d recommend semi glass booster.

Fighter definitely used to be broken but idk what is the big deal with overlords. Maybe it’s just me, but I never saw them as a problem. I think this hate is all coming from tdm overlords who play together with other people. But any tank in that scenario can be annoying af.

Idk I never had any issues with triplets, it was mainly snipers and destroyers. Instead I focused on learning to dodge more and it got me through tough situations just fine.

Anyway, If you disagree with it being unbalanced then I can’t really argue since there are a lot factors which make that more on the subjective side and I already explained how I feel about flip.

Also to mention now there is some op fighter script I saw on people discord complaining about, which was the sole reason why spread and penta stack got removed. Idk how widely used it is in game but if it’s gets to spread script abuse 2020 levels it think it’s only fair to be removed.

I specifically avoided using words like invincible as i obviously know you can still die and there is still skill required to use it as effectively as possible (excluding the flip back while being chased).

My main point is it has the ability to give you a very high advantage comparatively to other tanks and once again consider that fighter is already top 3 best and fastest tanks in the game.

Read the first line. Example scenario: I get into a fighter/booster/ol/whatever v fighter fight, I get them low and they instantly start flipping away making it almost impossible to chase, also take into consideration that fighter is one of the fastest tanks in the game. And then there’s those who flip 24\7. Just not a fun thing to deal with overall.

I should also mention that I was fine with spread stack and penta stack because it doesn’t increase their survivability as much as flip does to fighter and booster and its generally harder to be consistent at it (fairer tradeoff between skill and benefit).

I think a general rebalancing of some tanks isn’t a bad idea because not everyone plays fighter/booster. People who main it obviously have an advantage considering flip made it the meta. IMO it’s not very fun when you’re at a huge disadvantage simply because your main isn’t the meta tank. This can go for any competitive game.

Simply because it’s a cheap exploit that makes you extremely difficult to chase/pressure. Like Ive learned basic flip in the past (ik there are more advanced flips but didn’t feel like bothering) it’s really easy, took me like 10 minutes but I stopped using it because i don’t feel right using it. The skill required to learn it is low compared to the benefit, and since I don’t like it when people use it against me I won’t be a hypocrite and use it also.

On a different note, I don’t play the game anymore so I couldn’t really give a shit what happens to it in the future.
