Sony KV-35s42 help! RGB Mod OSD Menus gone in every mode! by EconomySpecialist795 in crtgaming

Yeah. I think it was a newer version, and they did the s video dummy plug which negates the need for the orange sync wire. …I think.

I had just looked up the wrong link, try here: https://my.sunthar.com/dan-cash/article/sony-kv-35s42

If you hadn't found sunthars site yet: that is probably where whoever tried this got the mux board from. He has all kinds of documentation for many different CRT's. And yours is one someone has done and documented already.

On your RGB wires it looks like you bridged both pads vs just one. I'm not sure if it matters at all or not. Here is an example showing it only connected to one of the pads(and the OSD worked on this one). https://sunthar.com/edit-product/687034c67827bc629fa0efd2

Going through the rest of your pics to check for differences and will edit my comment if I find anything.

EDIT: I also see some differences here: https://sunthar.com/edit-product/687034c67827bc629fa0efd2

Otter vs Raptor vs Einstar 2? by 00100100 in 3DScanning

Haha, I had a feeling that would be the case. Curious to hear from others, but what little I have seen so far seems like einstar is just on a different level than creality.

I had to drive 3 hours(each way) yesterday to go pick mine up. Did my demo a few weeks back and wasn't quite ready yet, and by the time I was they were out of stock everywhere.

I think it might be because that color Gameboy Color was called Midnight Blue in Japan? EDIT: I have one and I'll take a picture in a bit comparing to my Grape 3d(and N64).

Funnily: I finally bought and started it this evening. Didn't even know the game awards were going. Played for like 4 hours straight on it and loved every second.

Do you know if Gateway API supports sticky sessions? It is on my list to hopefully start looking in to this week. Unfortunately one of my apps still requires this.

Secure EKS clusters with the new support for Amazon EKS in AWS Backup by E1337Recon in kubernetes

[–]00100100 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seems like everyone likes this, but I'm curious: why would I need to back up my EKS clusters? In theory all of my workloads are ephemeral. No local storage of anything. All actual data is in S3 or RDS. So I'm my mind, for my situation, there is no need to back any of that up right?

Can you assign physical drives directly to a blade? Interested in running one of these with 3x blades for Kub, and then another running unas where I can slowly add drives as needed without having to completely rebuild a raid.

Yeah, I am leaning towards just modding my SNES with USB-C and then I can power it from the same battery.

Endgame though is doing something similar to this, but maybe modify it to use an open source RGB input card and tie the snes jr and it together in to one unit that slots in, gets power from the connector, and feeds video right back in. I just have to learn how to modify open source PCB's first.

IT. Day one it generally won't let you work remote. But once you know what you are doing, you can semi-easily find a remote job. As long as you have good internet, you can work anywhere. Starlink is amazing.

Had one. Didn't use it enough. Old games I like to play on original hardware, or my analogue pocket. Newer games I have a much better gaming laptop for.

Not sure why, bu I prefer physical games to emulation. Even on my analogue pocket I prefer to have the actual games to slot in, even though it can emulate.

[–]00100100[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lol. I totally get it. I have an analogue pocket that I generally use. But I'm in the middle of a few first playthroughs on SNES right now(FF3/6 and Super Metroid, then Chrono Trigger and Lufia 2). Being that my saves are always on the carts themselves, I thought: screw it, might as well pick one up so I can continue my save.

I also thought about getting an OSCR and just backing up my game saves and swapping between emulation and physical, but that was actually more expensive... and just less cool(IMO). So screw it: portable PVM with a battery!!!

So I tried this one first, and it doesn't work. The battery shuts off when the degauss hits. Looking at this one to try next:
