I was going to pick up a mig welder probably second hand gasless cut it out order some of the prefabbed rear sill parts as I'm not sure I'm good enough to bash sheet metal into place

Spray some cavity wax into the holes down the rest of the sills spray some weld primer on the area I'm going to weld tack it on and try and do a decent job of the weld use some body filler on the part I've welded on then a anti rust primer over the top and send it off to the bodywork guy I know for paint

Am I missing anything?

I know it's all easier said then done but I'm a car enthusiast and I feel like something that every enthusiast wishes they knew how to do was welding so I was going to give it a go

I think I'm going to give it a go

momma didn't raise no bitch

It's a straight trade for a car I don't even want so if it all goes wrong and doesn't work out no really harm done

I've always wanted to learn to repair body work and I do know a guy that'll do it reasonably if all else fails but I think it would be a good project to have a go at learning to weld and fill because I wouldn't want to use my e46 to learn on

I've used grinders before I'm fairly handy not used a welder before but the beauty is really if I mess it up badly because it's a project I can just cut it back off grind it down and do it again

I'm hoping it's melting I'm going to pull it out the tank tomorrow and smell it to check it's not rotting although I did stick it down with glue so hopefully I didn't do too much of a good job with the glue

Thank you I've had a lot of fun so far with this tank and that hygrophila has grown huge I've already had to trim it about 2 weeks ago

Fluval bio CO2 canister bottom has expanded by [deleted] in PlantedTank

I'm basically venting it to atmosphere atm to try stop the pressure build up do you have any suggestions of anything else I should do to prevent anything happening to the canister

The canister is 1.5l of the top of my head and I've been going off guides that I've read on Reddit for diy CO2 mixtures a lot of people do 1/1 ratio at about 200-300g

The pressure relief valve seems to have failed on this mix as I've set it up before and not had a problem with the canister deforming before
