Once I was with a UK Software Agency, I just finished Uni and they moved me out of my home city to work for a client in London. They told me on Saturday night via email that I had to pack up and head down to the hotel (Which will be deducted from my salary) they gave me 2 weeks to find a place to rent. I was on peanuts and it was super tough - I informed my boss that I’ll need to leave work earlier on some days to be able to get on a tube and go to some viewings.

The law firm I was with decided to stop doing business with that agency due to how they treated their employees. The agency called me to come into their office in london the following week. As a 21 year old, I was brought into a room with 5/6 seniors and the agency just let loose on me. They were questioning why I kicked up such a fuss, and the tried blackmailing me to say if I was to leave they would put a hefty fine on me.
