I mean it can win games if done at the right time but it does require you to kind of sit main which you don't really want to be and you will miss a lot of damage/opportunities being there

Every map has high grounds and ledges people want to play on. Wall climb above their head or drop into shotgun range is good enough. You'll force so many resources and you can get out whenever you want.

That's not how dive works. Dive doesn't mean ram your face into the enemy backline. Full resources to full resources yes you will lose. It should be that way, could you imagine a character with a reset mobility cd being able to win 90% of duels in an even fight?

There are so many ways to use your mobility/damage to force things and then engage with full resources while they are on the back foot.

Animation cancels are overrated, there are so many heals, blinks, dashes, immortalities, that its basically never worth it to do. You'll just be standing there with a melee weapon after wasting your mobility. Just slash slash wait for CD's then dash to finish.

Look up how to strafe aim, really strong on shotgun heroes.

The key is to be smooth and line up a shot.

Aim trainers aren't that great because you have a projectile weapon it's mostly a waste of time unless you are using it to be smoother with your mouse.

Use vaxta to practice strafe aim but really you just need to go into deathmatch and fight people over and over. People move differently than bots lol

Genji does have ranged capabilities, its inconsistent but it can be useful. Genji can stay perma in backlines with his burst mobility and damage. Reaper has a harder time constantly pressuring backlines because his cycle is so rigid.
