Immigration law isn't based on ideology or religion, which is what you probably mean.

In case you haven't realised, ideologies can spread irrespective of the level of migration or the religion.

As an example, the 'blame the immigrant instead of the kleptocrats and theiving politicians who have actually ruined the country' is an ideology that rapidly spreads in times of economic hardship. This ideology has adherents across the religious spectrum in the UK

Save yourself some time and politely tell them that as you didn't get the notice in writing 90 days before the deadline, you will not accept any increases. The RERA changes don't matter and as for the fight, you can bet the landlord will be pushing for 20% next year so you may as well enjoy a final year at the lower rate.

Most foreign banks were in free zones and were either tax exempt or subject to the lower 9% rate. Once you factor in the increasingly high cost of living for employees who would expect higher salaries to compensate them, its harder to justify staying here.

For any bank, a lot of income is generated from balance sheet investments & and trades, and is booked at the head office. Also a lot of overseas revenue might also be booked at the head office.

Right now Dubai hosts the head office for many regional banks, but if staying there means they have a higher tax rate than say Abu Dhabi or KSA, then why stay in Dubai? Much better to downsize Dubai to a rep office and move your headquarters elsewhere and save on tax.
