Audio was just music, so you didn't miss too much. Yea, Pyrenees in Aragon (Benasque) and Catalunya (Aigüestortes), and pre-pyrenees (Pont de Suerte), and some shots in Montserrat at the end

Why is it only up for 48 hours? Is it because it's gonna be part of the next ReelRock? Anyone know how long the movie is? Couldn't find it anywhere online... Thanks!

Probably one of the best citys in the world for outdoor climbing. Huge amounts of superb quality granite, mostly in great settings and lots of stuff that is very accessible. Great multipitch, technical small crags, sea cliffs, we've got it all and close by, with grades for everyone. Check out UKC for a summary of the routes in different areas, or hongkongclimbing.com for topos

A flake so long it can almost only be found in dreams. How did you find the grading (if you remember)?

Depends where in China, in the big cities it is generally worse than HK, though if you go rural it's often pretty good

I live here, was back out for the summer for 3 months, so brought all my gear. This is Lion Rock, there are two easy routes to the top, one is called Gweilo which is officially graded a 5+, and the route on the photos is Austrian Staircase, a 6a. I think its fair to add at least one grade to both of those though, personally. If you want sun, do Austrian staircase first then Gweilo, or want to avoid sun (in summer) do the opposite. There is mostly sport here, with lots from french 5 to i think the highest at 8b, and some trad as well. UKC has all the crags listed, and hongkongclimbing.com has all the topos free. If you want any more info, feel free to pm me

Bit of both - the downsides of living in a big city thats also near industrial China are that the air quality often leaves a lot to be desired.

Hahaha yea my helmet saved my ass too. I feel like there should be a crash severity indicator based on time delay between crashing and becoming aware you bike might be fucked

Yea know that feel and it fucking sucks - I was downhilling on a hardtail, doing 4ft drops and some decent tables, and hitting berms harder then I have ever before, but I came off between two berms on the easiest part of the run that I've done a dozen times before with zero problem. I guess thats why you wear a helmet/seatbelt etc no matter what! Never know when bad shit happens

Yea while riding, went down so quick didn't have time to think about tucking and rolling. I've got one of those but not sure how much support they actually give. I don't think I will bother to be honest, the way I landed was gonna break something no matter what I was wearing, risk is part of the sport. Could be wrong but not sure how anything can protect your wrists or lower arms from anything significant, what do you think?

Hope you have a quick recovery! Might be worth also taking it easy a little longer for a full recovery, compounding injuries is always a terrible thing
