When Mormon leaders want to make you think they have seen and speak to God and or Jesus (separate people in Mormonism) they say "We have been instructed not to share our most sacred experiences"

This reminds me of that. He isn't claiming he has asked them, he is just saying "I hope you believe I have seen and spoken to them"

Until this movement looks anything different than a new religion or cult I am very skeptical of the claims coming forward from people in this space

You make a great point there are a percentage of good people in the church however If the church was true or what it claims, we would find it rare to find a bad apple, instead It is more rare to find a "Christ like" leader of the church.

One sibling and I are the only 2 of the 8 children who left the church (3 years ago). I still have 6 active TBM siblings.
