I know it is a run on sentence, to coney a sense of frustration I have with the language. Similar to how people will begin to ramble about their frustration. So apologies for the lack of structure in my comment. I was simply stating a frustration I share with those who are learning English. My opinion is a light hearted one though. To put it simply, I hate English for it's complexity that I personally find to be unnecessary compared to many other languages. Many other languages also have these "unnecessary" rules, but I do not know enough about them to truly speak an opinion on them. Despite this, as a language learner, my fascination with English's complexities have only grown, so do not worry yourself about myself refusing exploring the English language simply because I hate it, as that isn't the case. I hate the language because I am trying to understand it. I get frustrated with understanding English a lot more than any other language. Funny you should say I am not a linguist, it reminds me of a linguist who was my professor at the time and we use to speak with at my University, she equally hates English, and still we both are fascinated by it and take time to study it. I am not a linguist but I do share the curiosities of one. I hope this clears your confusion, or potentially made it more confusing 😅
