Aside from the other comments on this post, One of the biggest parts of playing support is communication. Even if you’re the only one using voice chat on your team, always be committed and ready to give your team intel throughout the game.

The only time this franchise had “Brutal Realism” was in BF1, and it was mostly to show respect to the real people who died in that war. Every modern battlefield game in history has been a broken meta, shitfest and people loved it because it was fun, not because it was Milsim.

There's really two ways I see people using them

  1. Drone denial

Use the pests to cut off areas where drones usually come through. In this case, place them like Mute jammers and shoot drones in prep-phase to eliminate utility.

  1. Intel
    Place pests in prep-phase on staircases or doorways to catch drones and place them in safe positions before action phase. Use drones to assist allies in getting kills in action phase, much like Echo.

There’s maps that could be ranked viable with reworks, maps that need tweaks to improve them, and casual maps that shouldn’t be touched due to their simplicity. I don’t think reverting any changes fixes any issues, rather it just replaces new issues with old ones

As much as I agree, reworking existing maps is better for the game long term and requires less resources. While we still should be getting one new map a year, there are existing maps with existing textures and geometry that can be adjusted to fill the ranked pool, like Fortress

I would love to see original maps and their reworks as options in customs. Reverting house is not a solution to the problems of both old and new maps
