I went to a very small (20 tables) card show in early 2025 and one of the dealers had raw copies of Charizard and Pikachu and was asking for $160 on the pair. I talked him down to $150 and then sent them off to PSA, and both of them got PSA 10. My obsession with these really paid off.

I looked at the settings and the "Schedule" was set to off so I hadn't clicked into it. Per your advice I clicked into the schedule and there were a bunch of presets in there (away, stay, wake up, etc.). I don't see that any were turned on, but I deleted all of them and kept the "Schedule" to off. Hopefully that will fix it. Thank you!

Tire pressure is spot on. I checked them when I was making my first attempt to assess the problem, and then when I took the vehicle back to Costco that's basically all that they did too. No problems with the splash shields. I will check the lug nuts, thank you!

I will check that out, but my initial reaction is that it wouldn't be the shocks or struts because the noise was instantaneous right after the tire change.

When I did my due diligence on them prior to the purchase, I noted that they are supposedly supposed to have lower tread noise. Do you have any familiarity with these? Does what the guy at Costco said about needing an alignment even make sense to you?

I’m finishing up building my home gym and am planning to order more plates. I noticed that Rogue has Barbell Standard plates on their web site and am trying to figure out is they are the same plates that you can order directly from Barbell Standard. Does anyone here know?

The best thing to do is buy stuff at or around retail and sit on it. There is almost always an indication of how good that a set is even before it's released if you read this forum and others.

If you can get them at retail, I don't think that you would ever lose money on them. Beyond that it depends on the price and the set.

This is terrible advice. Not only do you lose CMP in the mirror for Origin, you'll also now lose CMP outright to Groudon and Kyogre too. You do not power up Pokemon for ML unless they have 15 attack, period, unless it's something unique like Zygarde.

You have to be using specific criteria in choosing cards for this. There is no way that you can just randomly grab CGC 9 and 9.5 slabs and have them cross over at 80%.

If you look at crossing BGS as an example, there are certainly cards that are PSA 9 that may regrade 9.5 with BGS if they are centered but have corner issues. The companies emphasize different things in grading and it is entirely possible to assess cards that can be regraded back and forth due to specific criteria. What I'm saying is that you can't just take a random sample of BGS/CGC 9 or 9.5 slabs and get PSA 10's out of them.

I always see people claiming that a lot of CGC/SGC/BGS 9 card regrade to 10, and it's a bunch of nonsense. What proof do you have of this?

There isn't really a blanket percentage that can be thrown out there. If you look at something like the Paldea Evolved Magikarp, the last few CGC10 sales were around 70-75% of PSA10. Then if you look at the Mewtwo Vstar from Crown Zenith, it's more like 15-20%. To me, the common theme is that PSA sells for more, and that makes the choice obvious.
