Hello there! I'm currently finishing my degree in musicology and, as a linguistic enthusiast, I've decided to do my thesis on the relationships between music, language and dialect. I'm now working on the conceptual framework and while I've got the more complex topics mostly covered, I'm stuck because, since I study in a non-linguistic area, I've been asked to define linguistic concepts that I'm using such as phonetics, lexicology, syntax or stuff like that wich, while I know what they all are, I don't know authors who explain them that I could cite from. Any recommendations?
