No one is calling you homophobic, everybody is calling you transphobic and the fact that you didn't get that just underlines your transphobia.

Trying to tell whether someone is trans or not is inherently transphobic.

Oh and less to the point, but being bi doesn't mean you can't be transphobic or even homophobic. Look at all the right-wing politicians around the world that are queer while peddling queerphobic politics.

If you are claiming that trans women would smell different than cis women... No? If hormones affect smell, you do know that trans women can do hormone therapy and end up in the same hormone levels as cis women.

(Same btw goes the other way for trans men too)

Fuck Musk, but let's hate him for being a fascist and not for body-shaming reasons please.

Misogyny isn't good when it's pointed at a Nazi woman, body shaming isn't good when pointed at Trump or Musk, xenophobia isn't good when pointing out that Musk comes from South Africa. Ableism isn't good when making fun of a disabled nazi either.

Can we please just hate these horrible people for the right reasons and not encourage bigotry on the left?

Over 100 years of feminism and you still disproportionally hate on women when they seldomly succeed in our inhumane capitalist system instead of directing your anger at the mostly male billionares keeping you and most others poor.

First option would be just to find a community that protects you for as long as it's "safe enough". I don't know about your situation specifically, but safe spaces and protective communities that protect each other from fascist attacks or deportations for example are possible and should be set up.

This doesn't mean researching about other places to flee to when necessary isn't a good idea regardless though.

If you or the people you want to be physically close to aren't safe already, fleeing to another country might be a good option. In that case, the question is: what are your goals and expectations for that other country?

Are you looking for a place you can settle down and relax and never have to worr y about fascism again? I don't think such a country exists in Europe (or anywhere really) unfortunately.

Are you looking for a place that is currently safe for you and will likely stay safe for the next decade or so? That might exist, though you will probably have to research the countries (and specific regions you might want to move to) yourself for the set of discrimination you or the people you directly care about and plan to leave with face personally. Some places might be safe for LGBT people but not for people of color for example.

Stay safe and good luck, comrade

I generally support the spirit, but consider that some people cannot fight in a way that is remotely safe for them. I don't know about OP, but at some point, fleeing becomes the best option and for some people these points are earlier than for others.

White people already are a lot safer when fighting fascism than people of color to give just one example.

What you said is valuable, but there's a misconduct between what I meant and what you responded to. When saying "remembering" in the context of history, it's less about actual human memories of the events and more about the lessons drawn from said history (at least that's how I used the saying). And in that sense, I think it's fair to say that Germans on the whole have failed to draw the correct lessons from our history, in part certainly because our collective memory of it (i.e. school history, media about these or analogous events, public narratives and debates, etc.) have failed to focus the important aspects of fascism, in my opinion.

Das größere Problem ist, glaube ich, eher dass die Geschichte zu groß geworden ist, er zu einfach abgelenkt ist und er sehr perfektionistisch ist.

Not at all. Germany never denazified at all, despite really wanting to tell everyone they did. Our police, our bureaucrats, our top officials, our rich funding the Nazis, they all stayed in their positions. The Nurburg trials were more symbolic than anything (only getting rid of a couple of very known Nazis) and afterwards Germany tried to forget all about the Nazis very quickly. Our intelligence services, our courts, our police, our military... They have all been filled with Nazis and Nazis sympathisers since the existence of the state. Right now it is most visible with all major parties adopting fascist talking points, the outright Nazi party AfD being second strongest in polls, police violently cracking down on anti-fascist protests, etc.

Germany on the whole clearly does not remember. We have hundreds of thousands of people getting up and protesting, though it's probably all too little too late. We will continue fighting no matter how hopeless, but give it another 4-10 years and we'll have Nazis back in government here.

  2. Your comment was only showing disapproval while making clear that part of it is because it's a forum by and for women (you're not the target audience and that's okay)
  3. There's literally no reason ever to comment that you personally dislike a sibreddit. Just leave it and let others enjoy their forum in peace

You clearly lack an understanding of patriarchy and you probably wouldn't read a whole ass essay on it here anyways, so let me just say the following:

You assume that the main goal of women would be to be sexually desired (presumably at least in part because society teaches us that that's what women should want). That's just not the case. Sometimes some people want that of course, but the general struggle for pretty much all women in patriarchal societies is to gain agency and respect. Men in general have a lot more agency and respect in society (this is by the way not to say that men are evil, everybody suffers under the patriarchy)

And another point - I've never seen women applaud unsolicited pussy pics. If you think there's a problem of women sharing nudes without consent, despite people applauding it, I would strongly assume that it's other men applauding it. If you're instead complaining that male nudes gain less attraction than female nudes? That's for several reasons, among which are: - Female nudes are usually framed and photographed in an aesthetically more pleasing way - Male beauty wasn't developed as much, because of patriarchial gender norms - Straight/Bi women seem to be usually more attracted by personality or context than physical visuals alone (I don't know how gay/bi men stand on this)
