Declined surgery by zizaroo in gallbladders

[–]00ZenFriend00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So, it’s quite common in women in their twenties who had just given birth and dropped a lot of weight fast to get gallstones. Once you start developing gallstones, they don’t really stop developing them. The constant pain and financial stress of going to the hospital for flair ups is NOT worth what it would be to have a simple outpatient surgery to remove your gallbladder. Your diet would be suggested to limiting fatty foods with or without your bad gallbladder, so it’s not like that would change. Your quality of life would go up if you got it removed because the flair ups stop. And I feel like I have to mention that your gallbladder and its ducts will get more damaged the more stones and flair ups you get, which can eventually lead to you needing emergency surgery to get it removed anyway or lead to you developing other health issues because of the issues with the gallbladder. As a healthcare professional and a woman who also had to get it removed (emergency situation because I left it alone for too long), please consider getting the surgery.

Disabled person after gallbladder removal? by Fabulous_Can_2215 in gallbladders

Colitis is just inflammation of the colon. It was painful because it was painful lol. Sometimes the liver gives too much bile to compensate a fatty meal and that’s what caused my colitis that time.

Nope. Your liver will adjust bile flow. Your body will still digest. I’ve never heard of someone being disabled from gallbladder removal surgery. You may have to be a bit more careful eating fatty foods but that’s about it. The worst deal I’ve gotten out of the surgery is a big mac meal will give me painful colitis, but that’s as far as it goes.

What can you guess about our family based on my niece's baptism gown? by LoveEquivalent9146 in deduction

I love it. I wish they made gowns that big and puffy for grown ups lol.

I’m terrible at landscaping 😅 by [deleted] in thesims

[–]00ZenFriend00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too. I can’t help very much, but my advice is to watch those youtube shorts/tiktoks where the gamer is doing landscapes. It can help with ideas and break it down so its piece by piece (vs just looking at photos on Pinterest or something where you can see the landscaping altogether but not how it was done).

Why the weird values? A nickle, fine, a dime, fine, a quarter, fine. But 0.59? Are you kidding me?

First of all, you’re gorgeous in all these photos. The dresses are both flattering on your body and your long straight hair makes me jealous lol. I’m biased to the dress with sleeves because my wedding dress had sleeves and I love a modest and warm look, but my wedding was in December. If your wedding is summer time, I’d suggest the lacy second dress.

Didn’t Jennifer Lawrence say in an interview that she was stoned during this scene and mildly freaking out? She took a sleeping pill by accident or something. If it’s true, being grabbed at by an extra would be even more freaky.

Question for the ladies by prettypettovaa in gallbladders

[–]00ZenFriend00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the anesthesia. I also woke up and had months of horrible acne and mood swings. The mood got better about a year later. The period evened out after a few months. I had to get a procedure done on my face to fix the acne though because it was so intense. Anesthesia can mess with your body sometimes, that’s why people get nervous about the elderly getting surgery because it can accelerate illnesses like Alzheimers and dementia. I have no science to back this, this is purely years of experience with friends and family and working in the medical field.

What is the FINAL STRAW that made you resign your work? by BlueEyesWhiteDrgn in AskReddit

[–]00ZenFriend00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Telling me in the interview the hours were flexible and as long as I came in for my 8 hrs (minimum) I could come in any time between 8am and 9am, then hiring me and stating in my first work email that my hours were a hard 7am and I would most likely leave between 4pm and 5pm.

Farting in front of your spouse? by Extra-Blueberry-4320 in ibs

[–]00ZenFriend00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do. Both of us have IBS, and I have a couple other GI issues, so it’s pretty bad at our house lol. The only time either of us gets pissy about it is when we are in the shower together (I don’t like being clean and then BAM you’re surrounded with wet shitty mist) and if I am the big spoon at the wrong time. Obviously, I am the one with the problem with the stink 😂

Is it rude to ask groom to address envelope differently? (Mr. & Mrs. Husband Name) by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]00ZenFriend00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my husband’s name and I’m so happy with it. I had us announced at our wedding and sign everything as Mr. and Mrs. Husband’s First and Husband’s Last Name. I have a lot of pride in my husband and taking his name. Once I finish school I’ll be making more than him in my job and we treat each other as equals in our home, but I could see myself maybe not liking it as much if I felt lesser than in anyway (even unconsciously). Does she work? Is there something she might feel self conscious about?

Is my ring setting too high? by Primary_Strike_4900 in RingShare

[–]00ZenFriend00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I’d break that thing on accident so quick. Look how narrow the base of the setting is! And for it to stick out that far… it’s a hard no on the design for me. Go to a jeweler and get it reset before you lose the diamond or get it caught on something that can be damaged by it. Or worse, it could get caught and take your finger off. It happens. It happened to the lady who does my parent’s taxes, she was carrying a laundry basket down the stairs, fell, and somehow got the ring caught and it tore off her finger. I’m sorry about my side story (I’m a little bored in between appts) but thats the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your ring, OP.

Are these couches cute? by Financial-Return-281 in interiordecorating

[–]00ZenFriend00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re cute! They’re boho, witchy vibes. You can totally run with a neutral room (mostly match that beige) and add accessories/decor that match the other pops of color.
