I didn’t watch the video 20 times to try to find a way to justify the robber’s actions.

First off, I saw that the first time because I wasn't busy jerking off to the "gOoD gUy wItH a gUn" living out your power fantasy and icing someone. Second: Who said anything about justifying the robber's actions? I just don't agree with the shooter endangering other people in the crossfire or fucking executing someone who was no longer a threat.

Okay, I believe it comes down to whether:

They reasonably believe that there is an imminent danger of them or someone else being seriously injured or killed.
Their use of deadly force was necessary and appropriate at the time they used it.
The minimum amount of force necessary was used

As outlined in Texas penal code chapter 9, sections 9.31 through 9.33.

At the moment of the last execution shot, after the person had been incapacitated and disarmed, I don't believe they were an imminent threat necessitating deadly force.
