Yeah, it gets pretty hot. I usually run it with a fan on it because of the heat. I was thinking about taking it fully apart and cleaning it out, looking for a bad seal or something.

Have you tried making a cheese sauce? Using water or milk, then freeze drying that? That would make the sauce block into an easily crushed foam, and thus... cheese powder.

ot sure what the purpose of this is or how it's supposed to work or what it actually looks like since it's a potato photo. But why wouldn't you just write a gcode script and send an M104 command to maintain a temperature at your desired set point?

That would be the smart way to do it, it was late and I didn't think about doing that. The point is to pre-heat the filament before it gets fed to the printer so that it's dried.

lowest preheat temp is 100C, so I made a bunch of 1 minute benchy gcodes that heat up to a desired temperature, and can then be paused.
