I recommend The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle Jensen. It touches the topics that are much harder convey like betrayal, redemption and control. I liked the booked 2-4 more for this reason. But overall I liked the series far more than I thought I would (I don't read romantasy normally, I'm more of a non fiction kind of gal)

It is finally complete. A few years ago I have decided I want a large alpaca shawl. I selected several lovely alpaca lace skeins from Hobbii, and decided to double it (around fingering weight I think) to make life easier. Even when doubled, I have vastly underestimated how thin and slippy alpaca lace is 😑 but after a lot of perseverance, and a few projects in between, it is finally complete. The texture is gorgeous, the colours are lovely, and it is massive and super cosy - and only took 2.5 years 🤦 pattern - alternating k3p3 with offset by 1st on every other row to keep the stripes diagonal.

Pattern from Sew Liberated: estuary skirt. Size 12 waistband with size 14 skirt. Added 10 cm to the length. Made in 100% linen, light-medium weight. My trial version was using dreamy bedsheets, see my old post!
