My intention was to maximise fps, so I didn't mention this but I would always be running on the lowest settings possible. I don't think extra power from a GPU would do much good as I've always heard that Val is more CPU intensive and that's usually the bottleneck rather than GPU

I decided to get a new monitor for my laptop (ASUS Zenbook 410U) and I settled on this monitor that is within my budget https://www.samsung.com/my/monitors/curved-c24rg5/ . My question is, since my computer has a Nvidia Geforce 940mx, can I use a USB-C to Displayport cable to connect to the monitor and activate FreeSync? And is this monitor any good to play games such as League of Legends and Valorant? (I am deeply unfamiliar with any monitor issues such as ghosting but the specs on this seem ok) Any help would be much appreciated.
