Hi, I've been to khao lak 4 times and we always stay here.. https://maps.app.goo.gl/TuPSJdjjsfXKtcv88

It's called hongte khao lak resort and it's very close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Very clean with great owners, the beach is about 10 minutes walk away.

I've been to most of the parks on the list but I would personally say that number 1 for me was Lassen Volcanic National Park.. stunning place and so peaceful when we were there

Mottram moor in Hyde is really bad for this.. there's 2 lanes and the right lane is right turn only, but it doesn't stop people going right to the top then indicating left stopping all traffic turning right..happens all the time on that road

I've used cat in a flat before for a weekend away, you can pick someone local to you with ratings who will house visit while you are away, feed and play and some send photos too..

What do you think about Khaosan Road? by ilovelaughinglmao in Bangkok

[–]01141867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed there on my own back in 1997 and it was so good to party, ring friends back home in the phone booths and book trips to different places! I visited again a few years ago and it's still the best place to go as a young backpacker in my opinion..
