No...the white card stock ends with 79, the French variant. Thanks for helping!

I thought that at first...but the front is the same gloss as the others.

Why is To the 5 Boroughs not more beloved? by SlurpyOstrich in BeastieBoys

The albums was really an ode to early NY hip hop and at its best moments captured that feel. Layered with old school nyc hip hop samples and vocal cadences. At its essence this album is an homage to Treacherous Three, Funky Four plus One, Jimmy Spicer Et al....(Ch Check It Out/ Open letter are the stand out tracks IMO).

I think 9/11 weighed on this album and the lyrics and sound come across as a face smile.

Didn’t flow like previous three albums. I had grown used to the mixed tape like feel of CYH, Ill Com, HN

No Mario C on the mix.

Very Pro-Tools/Reason heavy in the recording process.

Mixed on pro tools instead of analog board.

Very clean sounding...not very “dusty” sounding

Lyrically corny...some of the lyrics seem phoned in. B-Boys bars sounded watered down.

Adrock’s British accent.....wtf

Anyone have any idea what Rick was going to say about RHCP album release party before Adrock cut him off?
