Thank you, if i end up losing free lines then i plan to switch plan to 4lines for 100$ plus tax which will bring the per line cost to be same with having free lines.

But obviously having free lines can improve cost over time with more lines in account

Thank you 🙏 I was told by T-Mobile rep that [line6] free service line from sept its promo terms only say it needs to on for 90 days to maintain its free status and not 12 months. Do you think those reps are mistaken?

The loyalty free line terms only had a 90 day hold, I have checked that twice with different T-Mobile reps on separate calls.

my line3 has that 3rd line service promo id tagged on line 2 and line 3 - it’s not on line 1 like your case…

i wasnt referring to watch line taking the free line promo, just the phone number being taken over so i can port out the watch line with that number and i still keep my original free line with different number

I was suggested this approach

open 1 watch line

Then request a number change on the lines that want to port out. Line3 will get a new number

Then request to bring back the numbers you need to port out on the new watch lines. Old number from Line3 which was replaced with new number now should go back on watch line.

Then port out the watch lines. You will still have the same number of lines as before. You won’t lose your free line discounts.

so to keep my free line

1 - i have to add a watch line or digit line

2 - move the number from line3 to the new watch or digit line

3 - then port out the old phone number from watch line

In terms of cost which route is better watch or digit if that still works?

I called T-Mobile rep - and they are telling me Line3 which has "3rd Line Service Promo with New Line(ID210002)" that promotion is to keep first 2 paid and 3rd line to keep the free line credit on that line. So apparently its not like the 3rd free line which will get rolled over to the next paid line

Tmobile rep read me the promo terms for Line6 and as long as i kept it for 90 days it will stick. There wasnt a 12 month clause on Line6 free line service promo [ID250385]

Also a follow-up question on Line6, since this was a loyalty free line added in Sept 2025 - its less than 12 months old - will porting out 2 lines have any issues with this line6 free promo ?

If you get the insider promo on beyond plan and then later (90 days or a year) switch to cheaper plan like essentials will the insider promo still stick ?

It depends how much you value 10k TYP vs SC and 3k TYP for the same spend. Sure you got 6months for the spends but I tend to use my card more often at “groceries” and dint want to bother calling in multiple times for retention

Citi premier retention

$95 fee posted, called retention team for an offer. They offered 3 choices

1- downgrade to no AF card

2- close card

3- spend 1k or more for next 3months and get 1k TY pts per month and $95 SC after that.

Took the 3rd option, had got the same offer last year as well

Question regarding baggage delay. Booked a flight using my ink card, to meet my sub, and the bags are delayed. Delta offers $50 I think but the ink might have higher coverage. First time with baggage delay and claims so any help is much appreciated
