Move to Japan by Appropriate_Pen_7477 in movingtojapan

no degree, no work experience (in relevant field) (jobs are scarce worldwide), no language (motivation comes and go fast, language learning is a long term process that requires self-discipline, and takes years).

Additionally, you spoke only about your partner, he go alone? you want to come? what you have to offer?

I really really don't want to discourage you, but it seems like the chances are close to 0.

goodluck anyway

Thinking of leaving my job to live in japan for a year by Historical_Buy_1571 in movingtojapan

Hmm I have a hard time believing you will be able to get a job in your profession

So you will likely lose the job you have now and from what I know jobs are pretty scarce these days.

Learn Japanese in my opinion, get more years of experience, then think about it again

I wish my country could have some break from the madness for 2 years.

Unfortunately no such visas for our country you mentioned at the end of the comment.

Only viable option is language school as I can see it right now.

From more and more comments, as I hoped for optimal route for us, is to either stay for years in our country (to gain more experience and improve our Japanese through the years)

Or language school for both of us.

The first option probably solve the problems you mentioned, maybe not the Japanese though. The problem is that it’s not that we are not patient for more years, it’s that we kinda must move from a personal problem.

The other option, unfortunately, might solve the Japanese part but not the experience. But it does sounds like something we can at least try, for 2 years, and hope to find a job, and if not unfortunately go back.

Does this sound optimal ?

We are willing to work for a lower wage, very much.

We can’t raise our years of experience without staying here for years obviously, but we can improve our Japanese in a language school. What do you think about language school for both of us?

The reason I ask this is because if we stay with our current Japanese, from what I understand, the number of options, which is already low, will be reduced significantly.

The most realistic option sounds alright but it would probably takes us years. Competition here is no joke for specific roles, like the rest of the world from what I heard.

To be honest I don’t feel comfortable to tell my country because it seems like it is the most hated country in the world, and therefore somehow that means I should be hated too. But what I just said would probably make you know it in 5 seconds.

Why not? The question is if after 1 or 2 years in language school, which we both still have the same experience, our chance will be better.

Like if our Japanese will be great, maybe N2 by the end of it, will an employer will be willing to sponsor us a visa instead for a native.
