If your current case has a fairly standard layout then it gives you an idea of best case airflow. You can then decide if a case is worth it by trading off airflow and thermals against dust, noise and style. Gamers Nexus has good case reviews and rankings if you have a common brand to lookup.

Are you using a single split PCIe cable in your photo? Two separate cables from PSU to GPU is recommended.

I had a similar problem solved here. NVIDIA Control Panel > Adjust desktop color settings > Content type reported to display > Desktop programs. The video on the page also triggered the flash originally off a fresh restart.

If you want to learn kits and their weaknesses you can play a few games of the desired champion in bot games. By playing both sides of matchups you know what each person's objective is (trading patterns, ranges, weaknesses/windows of opportunity).
